【释疑与评价】
1. … but we were surprised that ninety percent f the students watch TV…
be surprised（at…）“对……感到吃惊”。surprise 的过去分词surprised和现在分词surprising都可以用作形容词，但过去分词作形容词多用来描述主语的感觉，现在分词作形容词则多用于对事物进行描述，修饰。如：I am surprised at the surprising news.
相同用法的词语还有：tire, relax, interest, excite….
2. Althugh many students like t watch sprts, game shws are the mst ppular.
althugh“虽然，尽管，即使”，用作连词。该词常用于句首，也可用于句中。在英语表达中，althugh与but 不能同时出现在一个句子中。例如：
Althugh it was snwing, it was nt very cld. = It was snwing, but it was nt very cld.
3. She usually watches TV fr mre than tw hurs a day.
mre than, “多于，超出……”。例如：
We can use the clth bags mre than nce, that’s gd fr the envirnment.
其反义短语为less than, “少于”。例如：
Tday’s students usually sleep less than 8 hurs at night.

温馨提示 学会“数数”辨代词
I eat vegetables a few times a week.
few, a few为不定代词，修饰可数名词。其中few意为nt many, 即：“很少”、“不多”、“几乎没有”表示否定，如：Few f us speak Russian. 我们当中几乎没有人说俄语；
A few意为sme, 即：“一些”、“不多”，虽少但是有表示肯定。
如： I’m ging t buy a few bananas. 我打算去买一些香蕉。
Little, a little作不定代词时，主要修饰不可数名词。其中little意为nt much,即：“不多”、“不够”、 “少量”、“几乎没有”表示否定。如：There is little ink in my pen. 我的钢笔没墨水了。
A little意为sme, nt much即“有一点，但不多”表示肯定。 如:
She knws a little f everything. 她每件事都知道一点。
在实际运用中，我们先根据被修饰词的可数与否判断用词，再根据提示句判断肯定、否定形式。
