Give a sample dialogue to students and ask them to imitate it

Writing 1. Lead-in. Ask students to make a spidergram of topics about pandas.
Lead students to search what the fact file is.
2. Let students choose a kind of animal and help them write down the information by using a spider chart.
3. Lead them to read and study the example writing.
4.Teach some key words and phrases.
5. Write an article using the words and sentences according to the sample writing. |

Follow the sample in Part A and make a dialogue like the sample in part B speak up. Work in pairs to make a dialogue and show to classmates
Discuss to list the obligations to protect the animals in our world. Write down the obligations.
In groups, role-play the story. Each student should play the role of one of the characters. Show the story to the classmates.
Review something about pandas by using spidergram.
Search what the fact file is. And learn about what a fact file should include.
Work in groups to choose a kind of animal to describe and then write down the information by using a spider chart.
Learn the example on p76 about the elephant.
Learn some key words and phrases.
Write down the sentences according to the sample writing. Read the passage and discuss with classmates and show their answers. |
