I am really sorry to know that you have been suffering from poor health these days. In response to your request in the last letter, I am glad to offer my advice.

First of all, a balanced diet is of prime importance, considering how obsessed you are with sweet food. It is urgent that you eat more fresh vegetables and fruit and avoid food high in fat and sugar. Besides, daily exercise is equally important. Stick to it, and you will definitely get in better shape. Furthermore, it is said that you will have a healthier heart with at least 7 hours of sleep every night. So, do get enough sleep! One more thing: stay positive and smile more.

That evening, Grandma helped me wrap（包裹）the coat in Christmas paper. She wrote “To Bobby, from Santa Claus” on it, after which she drove me over to Bobby’s house, explaining I was officially one of the Santa’s helpers. Grandma parked down the street from Bobby’s house, and I took a deep breath, dashing for his front door. Seeing no other people notice us, I put the Christmas present down, pounded on his doorbell and then I hid in the car with my grandma.

Grandma and I waited breathlessly for Bobby Decker’s front door to open. Finally, it opened. Out went Bobby Decker. Seeing the coat in the bag, he glanced around and looked quite astonished. Seconds later, he called his mother to go out for a check. Hearing them say “Thanks” to Santa Clause, I felt very proud of what I had done. At that moment, I even made up my mind to be Santa’s helper forever. It was on that night that I realized the truth that a person who has no Christmas in his heart will never find Christmas present under the tree.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to east campus library. To start your tour, I’m going to give you some useful information and regulations. I won’t keep you long. First, how to enter our library. Thanks to the advanced technology, you just need to bring your student card and touch it in front of the touch point and the door will automatically open for you. Then the opening hours. Our library is open from 9 am to 10 pm every weekday. For the weekends, it’s only open from 11 am to 4 pm. Please bear that in mind, so you won’t come in vain. Our library is also open for the local residents. And there are differences for students and the public: our current students can borrow up to 12 books at a time. However, for the rest, the maximum they can borrow is 9. You need to return the books on time, or your library account will be blocked and you can’t borrow any more books. Remember books have different due days according to their popularity. Mostly, the books should be returned within 4 weeks, but for the popular books you have to bring them back within only one week. The last thing I must mention here is that you are not allowed to smoke in the library anywhere at any time. And as to drinks, only bottled water is allowed to bring in.
