Frm 1914 t 1916, Ernest Shackletn, ne f the mst famus explrers f his day, led a great expeditin n the ship Endurance frm Lndn t make the first land crssing f Antarctic. Dzens f brave men jined the dangerus jurney t seek their hnr and reward. (A brief summary f the whle stry: when, wh, what, where, why, hw) Unfrtunately, adversity happened t them as they apprached the Antarctic. Endurance became stuck in the ice and sank int the cean. Having abandned the ship, they ended up n what was called Elephant Island.

I’m greatly inspired by the adventure stry and I’ m deeply impressed with the crew’s bravery, ptimism and perverance. I’m especially full f admiratin fr Shackletn’s great leadship qualities, which I think were the key t their successful survival.
