Section C教学设计教学设计: 本课主要是让学生了解有关着装的艺术。着装艺术与衣服的色彩,款式及个体体型分不开。本课首先通过与学生打招呼,与学生聊心情,由教师解释“失望”的原因而引出部分新词汇。再通过让学生观察同学的着装,复习有关颜色的词汇,乘机让学生了解颜色的色调,为理解课文做准备。然后让学生读1a,完成1b的表格,初步了解短文的内容。再利用核对1b的答案的机会,教学几个新词汇。接着让学生再读1a,找出难点,教师在释疑的过程中,又解决部分词汇和难点。有了足够的输入以后,就让学生去解决2的问题。最后师生一起利用1b的表格复述1a的内容。最后,让学生根据自己同学的体型给出不同的着装建议。 Ⅰ. Material analysis 本节课建议教师用1课时上完。主要活动为Section C 的1a。 本课1a呈现的话题是谈论各种体形的人的着装艺术。继续学习运用so… that…, such… that…和so that…结构,复习了提出建议的功能用语。要求学生掌握黑体词own, succeed, customer, simple和business的用法,理解白体词congratulation, style, contrast, fancy design, broad, waist, cold-colored和slim的含义。通过本课学习,让学生了解着装的艺术,树立正确的审美观和价值观。 Ⅱ. Teaching aims Knowledge aims: 1. 谈论各种体形的人的着装艺术。 2. 继续学习运用so… that…, such… that…和so that…结构 Skill aims: 1. 能针对所听语段的内容,识别语段的主题,获取主要信息。 2. 能引出服装的话题并进行简单的交谈。 3. 能从简单的文章中找出有关信息,理解大意。 4. 能在老师的帮助下或以小组讨论的方式起草和修改作文。 Emotional aims: 了解着装的艺术,树立正确的审美观和价值观。 Ⅲ. The key points and difficult points Key points: 1. 谈论各种体形的人的着装艺术。 2. 继续学习运用so… that…,such… that…和so that…结构。 Difficult points: 能在老师的帮助下或以小组讨论的方式起草和修改作文。 Ⅳ. Learning strategies 修改作文要有明确的目的,可从表意是否明确、拼写有无错误和标点的运用三个方面进行检查和修改。V. Teaching procedures1. Lead in. 1) Enjoy a song.2) Show some pictures to tell the students clothes are very important in our lives. And we should wear suitable clothes. Then lead to the new text. 2. Learning and Teaching. 1) Before reading. Deal some words and phrases by showing and learning some pictures. 2) While-reading. A. Fast reading for the first time and mark T or F. Tom opened his own clothing store. Fat people should wear dark color clothes and simple styles. Fancy designs make short people look taller. Soft colors will help thin people look full. Judy knows a lot about how to choose suitable clothes for people. B. Read for the second time. Fill in the table in 1b. C. Do the careful reading and find the difficult sentences in the text. Try to understand them by pausing. 3) Post-reading. A. Do exercise. Correct the sentences. It’s necessary for us do more exercise. Fat people in order to healthy lose weight. I hope everyone have a wonderful time. The more hardly you work, the better you will be. I think lose weight is not healthily. B. Watch and understand.3. Practice. A. Group work.Work in groups and talk about what Li Ming's family should wear to the party. Use the advice in 1a and the following information.B. Group work Survey your friends about what they like to wear and give them some suggestions on dressing. Then write a short passage about the information.4. Summary5. Homework. Try to give advice on how to choose suitable clothes for your friends and families. Finish Section C in your workbook. Preview Section D.
