Clemens Schaber is a zlgist(动物学家) at the University f Kiel in Germany. His new finding, published n June 11 in Frntiers in Mechanical Engineering, was part f his research n hw spiders mve. “Stickiness is an imprtant part f that, ” he says.
Spiders dn't have a sticky liquid n their feet. Instead, they use “dry” stickiness. Animals that use dry stickiness can stick and unstick t surfaces easily.
