We used to be able to see stars in the sky, but now the sky is not so blue as before. Water is polluted. We have no clean water to drink. Many trees are cut down. The city we live in is filled up with all kinds of noises and it seems that there is nowhere to escape that. Not only does it affect our lives and health, it also does a great harm to the future.

The air is badly polluted because there are more and more cars on the road. Factories that burn coal also pollute the air with a lot of black smoke. Water in the river is quite dirty. People are throwing rubbish everywhere. Some factories are pouring waste water into rivers. A lot of traffic is the main source of noises in the city.

Saving the earth begins with small things. For example, you can save water by turning off the tap while you brush your teeth. You can also stop using paper napkin. We are not supposed to leave rubbish everywhere and spit in public places like parks. This is turning beautiful places into ugly ones. I think it’s a great idea that we plant more trees. To cut down noise pollution, we should take the bus or subway instead of driving.
