2. Are the animals cute? Today is Saturday. Let’s go to the zoo and see the animals.

通过歌曲调动学生的兴趣，同时为进入新课的学习创设情境。

Presentation

1. Wow! So many animals here! What are the animals doing? Let’s go and have a look. Look at the giraffe! It’s eating. The giraffe is eating.

2. 同法教drinking, jumping, climbing（强调climbing强调b不发音）, sleeping.
3. Look at the lions. Are they eating?

4. Look at the tigers!Are these tigers jumping? No. They are playing. They’re playing with each other.（学习“play with 和……一起玩，each other互相，play with each other: 互相玩耍”）

5. Wow, so many animals at the zoo. Are they cute? Yes, they are very lovely. Animals are our friends. We should love animals!  But some are friendly, some are dangerous. Be careful when we play with dangerous animals.
6.     Chen Jie loves animals, too. She has a  dog. His name is Fido.

What is Fido doing ? Now, let’s watch  a video.

复习动物单词，激活学生已学知识，为下面的学习做铺垫。

呈现一张野生动物园的照片和观光小火车，带学生进入情境，激发学生的学习兴趣

通过课件强调单词里的ing及其前面的辅音发音，直观上指导学生如何正确读出动词的ing形式。从而加深孩子的视觉记忆。

在句子中学习单词，做到“词不离句”，达到生词和句型同时掌握的目的。

从单数过渡到复数，从肯定句引入到一般疑问句。为进一步学习本课的难点做准备。
