指在复合句中充当同位语的从句,属于名词性从句的范畴同位语从句对其前面的抽象名词进行解释说明被解释说明的词和同位语在逻辑上是主表关系
连接副词:hw、 when、 where等
连词:that、 wh、 whether等
I have sme dubt whether they can cmplete the task n time. 我怀疑他们是否能准时完成任务。dubt 名词后的同位语要用whether连接n dubt 后的同位语要用that连接
It is a questin hw he did it. 这是他如何做了此事的问题。
连词that引导同位语从句时,that不能省略;(与定语从句的区别)在某些名词(如demand, wish, suggestin, reslutin等)后面的同位语从句要用虚拟语气,shuld+动词原形,shuld可以省略;连词whether可以引导同位语从句,if不能引导同位语从句;连接代词what,wh,whm,whse,which也引导同位语从句;连接副词when,where,hw,why也引导同位语从句。

3.That引导的同位语从句与定语从句的区别:
同:that只起连接从句的作用,引导一个句子对前面名词进行解释补充和说明,无意义。在从句中不充当句子成分,不可省;定:that替代先行词,在从句中起连接作用,充当一个句子成分。如果在从句中作动词的宾语时可省略。
同位语从句中:从句是被修饰名词的内容。定语从句中:从句起限定作用,是定语。
