Unit 4  I used to be afraid of the dark.                              单元写作课一．Teaching  aims 语言：1. 能够学会如何描述自己的改变。2. 掌握写作的完整步骤。情感：注重自己的提升 , 不断完善自己。二．Language  points 句型：1.  I  used  to  be/do……,  but  now  I……2.  The  biggest  change  is  that……3. This  is  the  most  important  change  because……三．Difficulties :掌握写作的步骤 ,  注重连词的使用使文章完美。【教学设计说明】这一部分旨在帮助学生回忆词汇，为完成写作部分进行铺垫。四．Warming – up        Read the words and phrases with your groupmates.五．Teaching  steps (一) .  Greetings(二) .  Leading – in    Watch  a  video  about  the  students to  see  the  changes.  【教学设计说明】这一部分旨在帮助学生创设学习情境，看到自己的改变，回忆自己有哪些改变，为完成写作部分进行铺垫。    (三) .  Presentation1.   Work on   (1)  Look at  some  photos , then find out the changes.(2)  Read  the  passage ， then answer some questions.  (3)  Point out the key sentence patterns.2.  Review  the  description of a person      (1)  Ask some Ss to do some actions.(2)  Others guess and describe him.(3)  Ask some Ss to describe the biggest change and why.【教学设计说明】以上两部分旨在帮助学生学会用正确的语言进行写作，并帮助学生积累语言  ， 为完成写作部分进行铺垫。      3. Finish    the  writing  task      (1)  Analyze  the  writing  task to find out the person , tense , paragraph , content .          (2)  Write  your  own  composition.(3)  Share some compositions , then point out the linking words should be used and some better sentences are necessary.(4)  Discuss how to say better, then how many linking words can be used in your compositions .  (groupwork)          (5) Ask one student to write his/her words on the blackboard.  (6) Beautify and correct the compositions with their groupmates.  【教学设计说明】以上六部分通过分析，到写作，再到美化和改正旨在帮助学生学会把握写作步骤，以便顺利完成写作任务。五 .  HomeworkCorrect  and  rewrite   your  composition  about  your  changes.
