学科英语年级/册九年级教材版本人教版课题名称Unit 5 What are the shirts made of?难点名称1、能够用英语描述及询问物品的制造材料和在哪里制造；2、能正确理解和使用一般现在时表被动语态的用法及句子结构。难点分析从知识角度分析为什么难本课教学要让学生在掌握新单词的基础上掌握以下句型：-This ring looks nice.Is it made of silver?-Yes, and it was made in Thailand.被动语态用法以及句子结构知识点本身内容复杂，对于应用能力不足的学生来说难度较大。从学生角度分析为什么难初三学生已经具备了一定的读写能力，但对于英语语法知识的掌握还不牢固，经常会混淆一些动词的过去式，而在这基础上还要学习一般现在时表被动语态的语法知识，对于学生来说较有难度。难点教学方法 情境导入法 自主学习法 小组合作探究法教学环节教学过程导入-Who invented paper first?-Cai Lun invented it in Han dynasty.-What was paper made of then?-It was mainly made of bamboo. -Was it easy for people to make paper then? -No, it was very difficult then.-What is paper made of now?-It‘s mainly made of wood, bamboo, and cotton.知识讲解（难点突破）一、主动语态与被动语态英语中有主动（active voice）和被动（passive voice）两种语态。（类似于汉语中的“把”字句和“被”字句）。1、在主动语态中，主语是动作的执行者。Many people speak Chinese.（其中，谓语speak的动作是由主语many people 来执行的。）2、在被动语态中，主语是动作的承受者，即行为动作的对象。Chinese is spoken by many people.（其中，主语Chinese是动词speak的承受者。）二、被动语态的基本结构Be动词+及物动词的过去分词，即：be+done.注意：1、被动语态的否定句，一般疑问句和时态的转换要靠be动词来完成。即否定句在be动词后加not，一般问句be动词提前。2、被动语态中的实意动词必须是及物动词。3、语态和时态并不矛盾，被动语态可以存在于不同时态当中。They clean the river.The river is cleaned by them.被动语态句中的谓语部分由助动词be+动词的过去分词构成。其中，助动词be（am／is／are）来体现时态的变化。三、主动语态变被动语态口诀：宾语提前主语变，原主变宾by后见，时态人称be关键。四、make的过去式和过去分词都是made.肯定句：The shirts are made of cotton.否定句：The shirts are not made of cotton.一般疑问句：Are the shirts made of cotton？be made of的意思是由......制成，也可以写为：产品+be made of+原料。These are all materials, many things are made of them.Silver, wood, steel, silk, gold, cotton.五、情境对话-What's this?-It's a flower.-What is it made of?-It is made of gold.-What's this?-It's a blouse.-What is it made of?-It is made of silk.六、be made of、be made from 和 be made in的区别1、be made of、be made from 两词组都是“由……制成的”之意。be made of 指从原料到制成品只发生了形状变化，没有发生本质变化（属物理变化）be made from指从原料到制成品发生了质的变化，已无法复原（属化学变化）2、be made in 在...制造／生产（后接产地）3、be made by sb.表示由某人制成，后接动作的执行者。4、be made into 被制成为...，后接成品。 课堂练习（难点巩固）1.Books are made paper while paper is mainly made wood.A. of；of B. from；fromC. of；from D. from；of2.-Your coat looks very nice.
