【用法详解】be from 来自，相当于come from，后接表示地点的名词。

He is from Beijing.=He comes from Beijing. 他来自北京。

【用法详解】Where + be + 主语 + from?该句型意为“……来自哪里？”。回答用

“主语 + be + from + 地点”或直接回答地点。
