Type of lesson: Listening and Speaking   Teaching Methods & Learning: Communicative Teaching & Task-based Language Teaching三.  Teaching Objectives:By the end of this lesson, students should be able to 1.Knowledge Objectives(1)     Learn the new and phrases in page 4: write, show, or, talk, talk to, kung fu,play the piano, play the violin, play the drums, play the guitar... (2)     Listen and understand the tape.(3)     Sentences Pattern: Can+主语+动原+其他？                Yes, 主语+ can./ No, 主语+ can’t, but...(4)  Grammar: 情态动词can 的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句及肯定和否定回答、特殊疑问句的构成。 2.Ability Objectives: To talk about abilities and improve the abilities of listening and speaking. 3.Emotional Objectives:培养学生的英语听说能力，同时培养学生的兴趣爱好，通过才艺示提高学生的英语学习自信心。四.  Key points and Difficult Point:Key points: (1)Use modal verb “can” to ask and talk about abilities.(2)Distinguish “play+the+乐器” and “play + 球类、棋类名称”Difficult points: The use of modal verb “can” and listening practice.五.  Teaching Aids: whiteboard, color pens, PPT, pictures, tape六. Teaching Procedures Step1: Greeting and warm-up Greeting: Good morning ,boys and girls.
