Unit 9 What does he look like?I.教学目标:1.知识目标:1).单词: hair, curly,straight, height, tall, medium, thin,heavy,build ,glasses, blonde, brown 2).句型: -- What does he/she look like? --He/She is tall and has long hair.--What do you look like? --I’m thin.----Is he tall or short? ---He is short. ---Does he have long or short hair?---He has short hair.2.能力目标:1)学完本课,学会描述人物外貌。 2)能积极思维,运用所学单词,短语及句型,结合实际生活进行灵活运用。 3.情感态度目标:让学生学会友好地描述别人的形象。II.教学重点: 掌握本课新单词和句型和怎样描述一个人的外貌。III.教学难点:掌握描述人物外貌的方法。IV. 教学设计: 步骤1 :视频导入。身高对比差异,给学生视觉刺激,激发外貌描述兴趣, 步骤2 :呈现新单词,呈现新句型.教师出示图片,指图描述人物外貌,教学生词,新句型。(分别板书描述身高,体格,发型的单词及句子。) He is tall/short/medium height/thin/heavy. She has long/short/curly/straight hair.步骤3 :巩固新单词,新句型。 让学生完成比一比,赛一赛。巩固所学单词,句型。步骤4 : 完成1b,做听力练习。步骤5 :完成Guessing Game。引出一般疑问句。Is he short or tall? Does he have long hair or short hair?步骤6 :完成2a, 2b听录音,做听力练习,注意2a中“has”“is”的使用情况。步骤7 :本节课可选择的任务型活动: 看谁画得像? 教师先引导学生学习谈论身高,体重和发型的词语,然后通过教师的描述,学生边听边画,看哪位学生画得最符合教师的描述。通过此项任务,学生学习了描述人的外貌的一些词语。步骤8: Summary What does \do sb look like?
