Greet the whole class.T: Good morning class !S: Good morning teacher!T: Today , we’re going to learn to describe people’s appearance .Step2. Show two groups of pictures and ask students to observe these people :He is tall He is short.He is of medium height .Step 3. Whole class work Ask all the students to stand up and do the chant ,the first time ask students to do it slowly ,then do it faster: tall ,medium ,short tall .medium. short tall ,tall ,medium ,medium,short ,short,short heavy ,medium, thin, heavy, medium ,thin heavy ,heavy, medium ,medium,thin,thin设计目的:通过这个活热身,调高同学们的学习兴趣的同时处不学习本课时的单词。2.Ask students to do as I say .3.Ask students to practice reading the words4.Fast action .Step3.Practice the target language All the students stand up and compare their height and build .Eg: What does he look like? He’s tall He’s heavy.
