难点教学方法

1、利用多媒体课件呈现教学重点内容，让学生直观的感受重点词汇的不同用法，能够让学生把注意力转移到课堂中来，也避免了枯燥地跟读。2、让学生口语演示人物的全家福照片，运用所学的语言知识进行描述。3、采用教师学生互相问答的方式反复训练操练这两个句型的问和答，指导学生熟练掌握。

Now Liu Xing is going to introduce his family members to us.Let’s get to know them.

教师：Hello .I’m Liu Xing,Let me introduce my family members to you.

大家好，我是刘星，让我给你们介绍一下我的家庭成员。

This is my father and that is my mother.These are my parents.This is my grandmother.That is my grandfather.

Those are my grandparents.This is my brother Xia Yu.That is my sister.This is my friend.Those are my friends.

Do you know his family now?

你现在认识他的家庭了吗？

OK,now we almost know Liu Xing’s family members.

那么现在我们已经认识了刘星的家庭成员。

（6）单数和复数

Did you noticed?

“This 、that、is”these three words are singular words.

“these、those、are”these three words are plural words.

Explanation:

1. Are those your parents?

    parents是parent的复数形式，表示父母双亲。parent表示父母双亲中的一员——father或mother。类似的词还有grandparent，意为“祖父（母）；外祖父（母）”。

例如：

This is a single parent family.

 这是一个单亲家庭。

They are Jack’s grandparents.

他们是杰克的（外）祖父母

2. He’s my brother, Paul.

    brother意为“兄”或“弟”。复数形式是“brothers” ，应注意在英语中有一些称呼词不如汉语的称呼词意思明确，应视具体情况而定。类似的单词还有sister “姐；妹”， aunt “姑（姨、伯、婶、舅）母”，uncle “舅（叔、伯、姑）父；姨夫”，cousin “堂兄（弟、姊、妹）；表兄（弟、姊、妹）”等。

例如：

Bill is my father’s brother. He’s my uncle.

贝尔是我父亲的兄弟，他是我的叔叔（伯父）。

Linda is my aunt’s daughter. She’s my cousin.

琳达是我姨的女儿。她是我的表姐（妹）。

3. This is my friend Jane.

     This is …/That is … 这是……/那是……

     This is… 意为“这是……”（指离说话人较近的人或物），that is …意为“那是……”（离说话人较远的人或物）是一个用来介绍他人的常用句型。当介绍在场在第三人时，常用句型This is… / That is…，一般不直接说He is...或She is...。

如：This is my aunt Mary.
   这是我的姑姑玛丽。

①This is… 句型还可以用来说明某个事物。如：This is a nice clock.
这是一个漂亮的钟表。

② Is this/that…? 意为“这/那是……吗？”是一般疑问句，应该用Yes, it is.或No, it isn’t.来回答。如：

      —Is this your grandmother? 这是你的外婆吗？  —Yes, it is. 是的。

4.grandmother祖母；外祖母grandfather 祖父；外祖父grandparents 祖父母；外祖父母

5. grandmother = grandma （口语）grandfather = grandpa （口语）

6. grand：前缀，表亲属关系中 “（外）祖......”或“外（孙）......”grand + son →grandson 孙子，外孙

grand + daughter →granddaughter 孙女，外孙女

6. That’s my family. 那是我的家庭。

7.family “家，家庭”

•          指家庭这个整体，谓语动词：单数

•          指一个家里的全体成员，谓语动词：复数

•          Jim’s family is small. 吉姆的家庭是个小家庭。

•          Her family are all here. 她一家人全在这儿。

You can remember the word family like this :f(father),a(and),m(mother),i(I),l(love),y(you).
