Teaching Plan
一、Topic and function: Talk about clothing and prices.
二、Learning goals:
(设计说明:将知识目标以 “知识树” 的形式呈现,其中,最基础的是知识目标,再上一层是能力目标,最高一层是德育目标,一级级升华,能够帮助同学们从整体认知上对本节课的学习内容有所认识。)
三、Key points and difficult points:
1. The words about clothes that are usually appeared with plural forms, such as trousers, shorts and so on.
2. Ask and answer prices freely with the target languages.
四、Teaching methods and learning strategies
In this lesson, I’ll mainly use “task-based” teaching method assisted with situational approach and audio-visual method. I’ll instruct Ss to use cooperative learning, “learning from doing, learning from using”, so some situation and activities will be designed.
五、Teaching procedures and purposes:
Step 1 Warm-up &Lead-in
1. Before the class, I’ll show the video of the Children’s Fashion Show. Ss are interested in them and they will produce a good atmosphere that has close relation with this lesson.
(设计说明:课前几分钟先请同学们观看一段儿童时装表演,伴随着欢快的背景音乐,这些穿着各种服装的小模特的走秀片段有助于营造良好的学习氛围,同学们自然联想本节课有关服装的新单词。)
2. Then show Unit7,show a chant of clothes,and let Ss sing and dance with it as warm-up.
(设计说明:课前基于本节课相关内容的欢乐的热身活动,有助于学生积极进入本节课的学习。)
Step 2 Presentation and practice
First, comment on Ss’ learning plan and let them discuss in the group to solve the problems.
(设计说明:点评学生学案自主预习结果,小组合作互助讨论学案出现的问题,有利于培养学生自学能力和小组合作能力。)
Second, finish 1a.Let NO.4 to read and translate the words. Then let Ss find the common things among socks、 trousers、shorts and shoes,and add some other words like them,such as glasses、chopsticks and scissors.
Listen to 1b, try to imitate the pronunciation.
Third,
Let Ss write down the new words on the blackboard.
Four,Lead Ss to go shopping and lead in different kinds of money and the sentences: How much is/are…? Let Ss make a conversation with their partners. At last, encourage them to write down the sentences on the blackboard.
Five, Compete to answer the prices of some clothes.
Six, Group-work
According to the former study, show the examples and let Ss discuss the rules with a group and check their preview.
(设计说明:小组合作讨论,小组展示讨论结果,教师补充说明,师生课堂探究,质疑问难,既攻克了教学重点,又培养了学生自主预习的习惯,提高了小组合作学习的能力,而且,通过学生自主预习、合作探究总结语法规律更有意义和效率。)
Step 3 Production
Watch a movie and encourage Ss to set up a flea market and role-play the conversation. Situational learning can encourage Ss use the target languages, while the emotional aims are reached in the situation.

Summarize the whole lesson by drawing a mind map.
Arrange the homework according to their learning levels.
