    Can yu imagine a wrld withut music? Studies shw that public schls acrss the cuntry are cutting back n music classes t save mney. Wrse, sme schls have never had music classes t begin with. A study by The Texas Cmmissin n Drug and Alchl Abuse fund that students wh tk part in schl music prgrams were less likely t turn t drugs. Music prgrams encurage students t wrk tgether t prduce an excellent perfrmance.
    Music crsses language, class, cultural and plitical bundaries (界限). Music allws students frm different cuntries t cnnect. Fr example, at a schl talent shw, a new Japanese student played a pian duet (二重奏) with an American classmate. Althugh they culd nt cmmunicate verbally (口头上), they were able t read the music in rder t play the duet. Tw students frm different cultures wrked as a team with self-cnfidence and cmmn purpse thrugh music.
