一、教学内容分析
本单元谈论的话题是中国的主要传统节日。本单元的词汇除了节日名称和节日食物之外,还包括十二个月份的名称以及缩写。本单元的句型主要有两个,都是一般现在时态。一个用来表达节日的日期,另一个用来描述人们在不同节日里的常见活动和庆祝方式。
二、教学目标
1. 能正确理解、掌握对话内容,并能朗读对话。
2. 能正确地听、说、读和写单词 January, February, call, May, June,
September, October, November。
- 能掌握句型... is in ...。
- 能掌握一年12个月份的缩写以及规律。
- 能正确读字母th在单词中的发音。
- 能够了解Halloween并能朗读与理解Culture time。
- 能够理解并表演cartoon time内容。
- 能谈论一些传统节日,并与同学分享最喜欢的节日。

Step 1: Warming-up
- Free talk.
- T: Let’s enjoy a video.
T: There are many festivals in our country. Today we will learn four Chinese festivals.
Step 2: While-reading
- T: At first, watch the cartoon and answer. What Chinese festivals are there in the story?
2. T: What Chinese festivals are there in the story? Choose which one.
S: A, C, D, F
T: Yes, they are the Spring Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Double Ninth Festival.
- T: Now open your book at page 70 and complete “Look and match”
- T: First let’s learn the Spring Festival. This is the Spring Festival.
Learn: call it, Chinese New Year.

Learn: in January or February, get together, eat dumplings.
Read after the tape.
- T: Let’s learn the Dragon Boat Festival. Two in groups. Ask and answer.

- T: We have learned two festivals. Look at pictures, what festivals are they?
S: They are the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Double Ninth Festival.
T: Good! Can you fill in the forms? Please read paragraph 3 and 4. try to complete the form.
Learn: in September or October, look at the moon, eat moon cakes and fruit, in October or November, visit their parents and grandparents, climb mountains, eat rice cakes.
Read after the tape.
Step 3: Post-reading
- Ss read the text together.
T: And this time, work in groups, please choose one festival to introduce.
2. T: Good job! Now, let’s open the book at page 70 and finish “Read and write”.
