一、导入
Have a free talk about weekend activities and how often they do these things.
二、目标
- Students master frequency words: always, usually, often, sometimes, hardly ever, never;
- Students master the sentence pattern “How often ...?”;
- Students talk about how often they do things.
三、先学
1. ① Students look at the pictures, make a list of the weekend activities;
② Ask some students to share the answer;
③ The teacher checks the answer with the students.
2. ① Students listen to the recording and write the activities next to the correct frequency words;
② Ask some students to share the answer;
③ The teacher checks the answer with the students.
四、后教
- Translate the listening material and lead the students to read it for several times;
- Explain the important and difficult points to the class.
- Language points
(1) — What do you usually do on weekends?
— I often go to the movies.
前一个do为助动词,构成疑问句结构,后一个do 为实义动词,“做,干”。助动词do要随人称、时态等做相应的变化。
usually 作副词,表示“通常地”,是由“形容词(usual)+ly”构成的副词,usually是不确定的频度副词,对其进行提问时应用How often...?
(2) help with housework 帮忙做家务
help (sb.) with sth. “在某方面帮助某人”
help sb. with sth. = help sb. (to) do sth. 帮助某人做某事
