Unit 8 International Children’s Day第一课时B Let’s Learn,A Let’s Listen and Say1.能听懂、会说、认读、会写新词汇party。2.能听懂、会说、认读短语a class party,have a party,play games,have a rest,go to the theatre,go to the museum,have fun,have no lessons,enjoy ourselves。3.能用句型“We’ll…” “We are going to...”表达计划和安排;能用“What will you do?” “What are you going to do?”询问他人的计划和安排;能听懂会说A部分对话。4.了解六一国际儿童节,自由谈论儿童节的计划和安排。1.能听懂、会说、认读、会写新词汇party。2.能听懂、会说、认读短语a class party,have a party,play games,have a rest,go to the theatre,go to the museum,have fun,have no lessons,enjoy ourselves。3.能用“We’ll…” “We are going to…”表达自己的计划和安排。能用“We’ll…” “We are going to…” “I will…”表达自己的计划和安排。用于新授单词的图片、单词卡片、教学挂图、教学磁带等(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件)。Step 1 Warmup & Revision1.游戏:What’s missing? 教师用课件呈现词汇图片,让学生看图快速读出:park,school,theatre,museum,zoo,shopping centre…稍后教师带读一遍,倒数10秒后,随意抽走其中一张图片,谁最快抢答出被抽走图片上的内容,谁就获胜,教师予以奖励。2.教师播放一段视频,展示中西方重要的节日和文化习俗。稍后教师询问学生知道其中哪些节日,并向学生做简单的说明和介绍。Step 2 Presentation & PracticeB Let’s Learn1.创设情境课前布置黑板板书,增添节日的气氛。课前谈话,出示课件或日历图片,引出新课情境。T: What day is it today?Ss: It’s…T: What is the date today?S1: It’s…T: Look at the calendar, what is the date?Ss: It’s June first.T: Yes. It’s the International Children’s Day.板书并带读International Children’s Day.(预测:虽然这个节日名曾在四年级下册学过,但学生可能对单词international的发音不太流利,建议在此进行分音节式带读:International,international。)T: The International Children’s Day is coming. What will you do on that day?S1: I will sing and dance.S2: I will go to the park....2.New phrases出示庆祝儿童节的班级舞会的图片。(1) a class party,have a partyT: Look, we will have a class party on International Children’s Day.板书并带读have a class party。(2) play games,go to the theatre,go to the museum出示B部分词汇图片,贴在黑板上。T: We will have no lessons. What will you do?板书have no lessons,“What will you do?”S1: I will go to the theatre.S2: I will go to the museum.S3: I will play games.学生说的时候教师板书这些词组在相应的图片下。(预测:go to the theatre,go to the museum,play games这些词组都是学生曾学过的重点词组,再加之课前复习了一些地点名词,学生应该能够自己说出这些词组,教师只需在课堂上展示图片,给学生以直观形象即可。)(3) have a restT: You can do many things on that day. But I am going to have a rest at home.板书have a rest,并带读。(4)词汇操练①利用磁带的地道发音带读。②Let’s PK。小组比赛,以开火车的形式,一人说一个句子:I will…在规定的时间内说句子多的那一组获胜。A Let’s Listen and Say1.The dialogue(1)Listen and answer观看课文A部分视频,回答问题。Q: What day will it be tomorrow?(2)Read and answer细读课文,回答问题。Q: What will Anne/Lingling/Mingming/Miss Li do on International Children’s Day?(3)Read together and thinkQ: In other countries, what do the children do on International Children’s Day?(4)Listen and repeat播放录音,学生跟读,模仿正确的语音、语调。稍后教师利用情境教学法,释义have fun和enjoy ourselves。2.Practice(趣味练习)活动:我们就爱演。学生选择课文中任意一幅或几幅插图,自由分小组进行表演。表演内容可自由发挥和拓展。最后,教师请几组上台展示。Step 3 Consolidation & Extension1.活动:句子大PK。将全班分成两大组,A组第一位同学提问B组“What will you do on International Children’s Day?”B组第二位同学回答“I will...”或“We will…”然后向A组提出同样的问题,A组第二位同学马上回答,如此循环,在一分钟内回答问题最多的那一组获胜。2.教师播放相关视频,向学生展示国外小朋友是如何庆祝和度过儿童节的,让学生谈谈自我感受。Step 4 Summing up & Homework1.小结:师生共同总结本节课的主要内容。2.作业:①听录音,朗读A部分课文;②想想自己会如何度过即将到来的六一儿童节,写下自己打算做的事情。Unit 8 International Children’s Daya class party have a party play gameshave a restgo to the theatre/museum have funenjoy ourselves本课时B部分学习了几个重点短语,A部分以儿童节为线索,学习一般将来时的用法。教师在教学时,可以拓展国外小朋友是如何过儿童节的知识,开阔学生视野。
