Unit 8 International Children’s Day第二课时C Let’s Practise,D Let’s Read1.进一步巩固、运用新词汇a class party,have a party,play games,have a rest,go to the theatre,go to the museum。2.能听懂、会说、认读词汇fall on,have cakes,wonderful,wear a pretty dress。3.能运用“We will…”“We are going to...” “I will…” “I can...”表达自己的计划和安排。4.能运用有效的阅读策略阅读D部分短文,并完成文后习题。5.了解六一国际儿童节的相关知识,自由表达节日计划。能用所学的词汇与句型正确表达自己在节日中的计划和安排;能运用有效的阅读策略阅读D部分短文,并完成相关习题。能运用有效的阅读策略阅读D部分短文,并完成相关习题;能拓展表达其他节日的计划和安排。单词卡片、教学挂图、教学磁带、教学VCD等(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件)。Step 1 Warmup & Revision1.游戏:短语对抗赛。将全班分成若干组,对抗赛在两个小组中进行,在教师宣布游戏开始后,第一组的第一名学生立即用中文说出一个短语(如:玩游戏),第二组的第一名学生应立即说出对应的英文,说对加分,说错或反应太慢的记负分,最后得分最高的组胜出,教师给予奖励。2.Free talk.教师与2~3名学生进行课前对话。T: International Children’s Day is coming. What will you do?S2: I will…Step 2 Presentation & PracticeC Let’s Practise1.完成表格将C部分学习设计成为即将到来的六一儿童节庆祝活动列计划和安排。通过列表格的形式来完成。T: The International Children’s Day is coming. We’ll have a class party. What will you do at the party?S1: We will play games at the party.S2: We will sing and dance at the party.S3: We will take pictures at the party....(预测:学生回答时可能只是说“We will play games.”教师注意提醒学生用完整的句子表达:We will play games at the party.)T: I will wear my new dress to school. What will you wear?S1: I will wear glasses to school.S2: I will wear my new shirt to school....T: We can also have some food and drinks at the party. What will you eat?S1: We can eat some fruit.S2: We can eat some biscuits.S3: We can eat some cakes....教师边听学生的回答,边将他们回答内容中相关的词组板书于黑板上的表格内,最后全体同学齐读这些词组。2.听读Part C学生跟录音朗读C部分句子。T: The children are talking about their plan about the holiday. They are happy.2.Whilereading(1)学生观看D部分影音,初读短文,对于不理解的词组、句子,作上记号,并回答问题。Q: What is the story talking about?(2)教师帮助学生梳理难理解的生词及词组:fall,have cakes,a wonderful day...(3)学生细读短文,回答下列问题。Q1: When is International Children’s Day?Q2: What do teachers/children/parents do on that day?(4)学生齐读短文,找出下列问题的答案。Q: Do the children enjoy the holiday?(5)小组练习。学生两人一组,读一读Word Bank中的词组,并完成D部分的练习。3.Postreading引导学生用自己的语言描述D部分下方的图片。Step 3 Consolidation & Extension1.活动:选秀比赛。六一儿童节快到了,学校需要选出一批学生去参加区里的六一儿童节汇报演出活动。将教室布置成活动现场,教师扮演面试官,请几位学生上台表演才艺。表演前,教师提问:“What can you do?” “What will you do?”考生回答:“I can…” “I will…”教师再问:“Are you ready for the performance?”学生回答:“Yes.”几位学生表演完毕后,教师对被选中的学生予以表扬和奖励。2.Let’s have a partyT:Choose your favourite festival, and have a party. Let’s make a plan for the party.学生六人一小组,选择自己喜欢的节日举行一个party,和小组成员一起为party做一个计划。备选的节日有the MidAutumn Festival,International Children’s Day,New Year’s Day,Christmas Day。Step 4 Summing up & Homework1.小结:师生共同总结本节课的主要内容。2.作业:(1)熟读D部分课文;(2)写写你的儿童节计划。Unit 8 International Children’s Day—What will you...?—I/We will...本课时C部分训练学生运用将来时态谈论六一国际儿童节的计划或安排,D部分的短文介绍了儿童节的活动情况,对于短文下面的书写练习,教师要引导学生写出完整的句子。
