一、定义
现在进行时：现在进行时表示现在或现阶段正在进行或发生的动作。常与 nw，lk，listen 等词连用。
二、构成
现在进行时由“be+V-ing”构成，be 动词初学者最容易漏掉，它应与主语的人称和数保持一致。第一人称单数用 am, 第二人称用 are, 第三人称单数用 is。第一、二、三人称复数用 are。
动词现在分词的构成规则:
1. 一般情况下, 在动词原形后直接加-ing；
如：wrk→wrking d→ding play→playing
2. 以不发音字母e结尾的动词，先去掉e，再加-ing；
如：dance→dancing cme→cming write→writing
3. 在重读闭音节（即：辅音＋元音＋辅音）的动词中，中间只有一个元音字母，词尾只有一个辅音字母，要先双写末尾的辅音字母，再加-ing；
如：get→getting shp→shpping run→running swim→swimming
4. 以ie结尾的动词，将ie改成y再加ing。
如：lie→lying die→dying

三、用法
1. 表示现在正在进行或发生的动作。
【例如】：I am reading a bk when he cmes in. 他进来时, 我正在看书。
What are yu ding when I call yu? 我给你打电话时, 你在做什么呢?
Lk! They are dancing in the hall. 看, 他们正在大厅跳舞。
2. 表示现阶段正在进行的动作, 常和these days, this week/mnth, at present(目前)等时间状语连用。
【例如】：What are yu ding these days? 这些天你都在干什么?
They are preparing fr the cming exams this mnth.
他们这个月来一直在为即将到来的考试做准备。
3. g, cme, leave, stay, arrive, start等动词的现在进行时可用于表达将来的含义。
【例如】：He is leaving fr Beijing next Mnday. 他下周一就要动身去北京了。
They are arriving in tw days. 他们在两天后就要到了。

肯定句：主语+ be动词 + 现在分词 + 其它。

一般疑问句：Be动词+主语+ 现在分词 +其它？

否定回答：N, 主语+be动词+ nt。
特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词+be+主语+ 现在分词 +其它？
【例如】：
肯定句：I’m ding my hmewrk nw. 我现在正在做家庭作业。
否定句：I’m nt ding my hmewrk nw. 我现在没有做家庭作业。
一般疑问句：—Are yu ding yur hmewrk nw? 你现在正在做家庭作业吗？
—Yes, I am. / N, I’m nt. 是的，我在做。/不，我没在做。
特殊疑问句：What are yu ding nw? 你现在在做什么？
