教学目标：

1. 学生能够理解并用合适的语言表达所谈运动的特点。
2. 学生能够通过观察比较，理解和归纳出一般过去式和一般现在时的用法和含义。

2. 了解一般现在时和一般过去时当中动词的正确形式教学难点：用英语表达My favorite sport相关信息。  

教学过程：

Step 1 Class opening 

1. Greetings. 

T: Good morning, boys and girls. How’s the weather today? It was a good day last Sunday. I flew a kite with my friend. I had a good time. Did you have a good time on Sunday? What did you do? 

S1: I played football with my friend. 

S2: I read a book. 

T: Hope you can have a good time in my lesson. 

2. Game 

T: First, let’s play a game. Some pictures for you. Please look and say.  

For example: Playing football is a sport. Swimming is a sport. Ready? 

S: Playing basketball is a sport.  Playing ping-pong/football is a sport. 

Swimming/Running is a sport.

 T: Good job! Today we will continue to talk about sports. 

Step 2 Revision 

1. Listen and judge. 

T: These are sports. This is basketball/ping-pong ball /running. Spell basketball ..., please.

S: B-a-s-k-e-t-b-a-l-l … 

【设计意图】PPT图片依次换成书上练习一的图片，自然过渡到课本练习。

Part 1

T: Do you know about them?   

Ss: Yes! 

T: Let’s see. Please listen and judge. If it’s right/wrong, please do like this. (师做示范) 

【设计意图】通过做动作表示正误，能让学生集中精力，提高学生的专注力。当答案为错误时，可让学生来解释并改成正确的表达。训练学生主动捕捉关键信息的能力。复习关于各种运动的简单表达。 

2. Contest 

T: Well done, class. Let’s contest. It’s about sports knowledge. 

T: Here are the rules.  

1)Each team chooses and answers in turn. 

2)Each option can be chosen for once. 

3)If you don’t know, ask one partner for help. 

4)If right, your team will get score. If wrong, the first one who hands up can answer. 
T: Stars stands for its difficulty. T: Any questions? You’re Team 1,2 and 3.

Sports Knowledge Contest 体育知识竞赛规则：

1)三组轮流由一名组员选择一道题进行回答。

2)每题只能选一次。

3)每次答题可向其他组员求助一次。

4)答对加一分，答错该题变为抢答题。

T: First Team 1. Who’d like to try? 

Team 1: I like basketball best. I choose basketball clothes. 

T: Here’s the question. Please fill in the blanks.

Who won?

【设计意图】开展体育知识竞赛，全班分为三组。三项运动下有若干个选项，每个选项对应一小题,共12次得分。竞赛既能表现出学生对体育的了解和关注，也能将零散的知识点有趣的串联起来。通过竞赛鼓励学生积极思考，踊跃回答。 

Part 3 

T: I pick up some sentences from the competition. Let’s read together. What can you find? 

S1：标红的词都是动词。 

S2：前两个句子是一般过去时，后两个句子是一般现在时。 

S3：一般过去时动词用过去式，一般现在时动词用现在式。T: Pay attention to these words. They are key words about time. Some tips for you. 
What can you find? I watched this game last year. There was a basketball game last Sunday. We often play ping-pong balls at the shop. Danny always think she can catch the ball.

Tip 1：一般现在时表示具有通常性、规律性、习惯性的动作或状态。常和表示频率的时间状语连用。

Tip 2：一般过去时表示过去某个时间里发生的动作或状态。常和表示过去的时间状语连用。动词用过去式。 

S1 reads.  

T: Here are some verbs of past form. First, try to read. 

T: Now boys read the present form, girls read the past form. Let’s do it. 

An exercise. 
T: Please read and write. 2 minutes for you.  

T: Time is up. Let’s check. Five parts.  

S1: Yesterday morning, my friends and I went to a shop. 

S2: We bought three beautiful kites. 

S3: My friends taught me how to fly the kite. 

S4: I thought it would be easy. But it was difficult. 

S5: My friends flew the kites very high. But I couldn’t. 

T: Read together. 

T: I have a question. Why do we change “go” to “went”, “teach” to “taught”…? 

S: Because it was “yesterday morning”. 

【设计意图】从竞赛题当中选出句子，启发学生通过观察和比较，归纳出一般现在时和一般过去时的特点。既开动了学生的思维能力，同时也便于学生复习和记忆。进而提示“用动词正确形式填空”这类题的答题技巧。并通过Part 6练习巩固。  

 Part 4 My favorite sport

T: We know, basketball, ping-pong … are sports. Flying kites is a sport, too. What 
other sports do you know?
