Lesson 7 Arriving in Beijing 教学设计一、教学目标: 1.知识与技能: 1. The students work toward mastering (saying ,recognizing and using orally) this vocabulary: Children people many(此三个为复数概念) everyone(第三人称单数) 2 .They practice and can recognize these words: Man men woman women baby babies 3. They can understand and respond to the important sentences: Who are these ? These are ... What are they doing ? They are ... 2.过程与方法: 整个课堂以模拟坐火车为情境进行教学,采用小组合作式、体验式等多种学习方式,通过设计表演等环节使学生理解掌握词汇及句型。 3.情感态度与价值观: 培养学生较好的文化意识与英语语感。小组与小组间相互合作,互相帮助。爱北京和爱祖国教育。 二、能力目标: 1. 使学生能练习写说、写相关名词的复数形式的句子。 2. 培养以旧带新掌握一定的语言技巧的能力。 三、教学重难点: 1. 使学生掌握单词:men, women, children, people, many. 2. 学生能够正确运用句子:This is a ___. These are ___.并能够区分单、复数的区别。 教学过程: 一、Class opening and review 1. Greeting: T:Hello, my friends! I’m very happy to see you. In this class, we will go on a trip to Beijing. T:How can we go to Beijing? S1:By airplane. S2:… T:Yes!We go to Beijing by train. (师以手势使学生理解教室为模拟火车。This is a train.We will go on a trip to Beijing.出示火车图片) Are you ready? Let’s go!We learnt a song.Do you remember it? Let’s sing together.2.Review OK.let’s play a game. “Make a train” Say “man” “woman” “ baby” one by one 二、New concepts 1.Men, women and children T :Now, we are on the train . 坐火车会遇到形形色色的人,不同的年龄、不同身份的人都可能和我们乘坐同一列列车。让我们这些同行的朋友们相互认识一下! (1)(教师进行表演) Hello! My name is Marry. Nice to meet you . I am seventy years old.I am a woman.(表演)Who is a woman,too?统计妇女个数,请个别同学到讲台前进行介绍 T:How many women are there?One,two,…together. 引出复数形式,This is a woman .One woman .These are women . Many women .板书:woman-women,Read it many times.台上同学教单词,说复数变法。同样引出men,babies,children。 e.g. a.指一个男人说:This is a man .One man . 齐说:These are men .Many men.(Write man→men on the blackboard) b.(Show a picture“baby”) This is a baby. One baby. These are babies.Many babies. c. This is a boy and a girl .Boys and girls are children .Children单词是个复数形式,它的单数形式是什么呢?Can we say “This is a children”? d. S:No!This is a child. T: Great! child→children. These are many children. Do you know what’s the meaning of “many”?Can you tell me? (许多的) Make an example:Many books. Ask the students to say the similar phrases (rulers pens erasers ...)设计意图:以模拟坐火车为情境进行教学,运用自由交流和图片展示等方式引出重点单词复数概念和使用方法,为后面语篇的学习扫清障碍。 (2)表演Chant: This is a man,man,man,man. These are men,men,men,men. This is a woman,woman,woman,woman. These are women,women,women,women. This is a child,child,child,child. These are children,children. This is a baby,baby,baby. These are babies, babies, babies. … (Together)We are people,people, people, people. 互动游戏巩固单复数名词。T:Are you tired? Let’s play a game.Who want to have a try? 设计意图:运用歌谣、游戏等巩固单词复数的使用。 2. People in the train station (1)T: Listen! 火车鸣笛声What happened? The train is arriving in Beijing. I am tired and hungry .” 教师表演tired and hungry.师生自由交谈: Are you hungry? 同学回答完毕,进行总结You’re hungry.She is hungry.He is hungry,too.使用everyone。 Everyone is hungry.再问其他学生继续引导everyone用法,e.g. Everyone likes meat. Everyone is wearing socks.…学生找规律:everyone是第三人称单数,be动词用is,一般动词后加s.读一读句子。小组表演对话。 Let’s go to the train station.(出示北京站图片)Look! There are many people in the Beijing Train Station. Let’s have a look! 猜一猜:Who can you see?师生自由交流。 找一找: 默读课文20秒,划出Who are they? What are they doing?读一读,听读,划出停顿处,(比如一个短语要读在一起,)和重音。再跟读录音。 说一说: Make a dialogue in groups. T:Who are they?They are … What are they doing? They are … 学生看图片表演。小组展示比赛。教师给予奖励苹果图片。 填一填:课文复述填空。 设计意图:运用任务型教学十二字法(找一找,读一读,说一说,写一写)学习语篇。 (学生分组活动,会话、表演,教师进入各组指导会话) 3.小结。得到苹果的学生站在台前说:Everyone has an apple.展示苹果背面单词读重点词汇,用单词宝宝排排队,练习连词成句:Many men,women,children are people. 设计意图:学生用游戏巩固所学语言点。 4.观看北京图片,Beijing is so excellent!Bejing held the2008OlymicGame.Now please watch the avideo(播放北京奥运会电影片段)让大家一起说:We love Being. We love Ghina. 设计意图:进行爱北京爱祖国教育。 板书设计: Lesson 9: Arriving in Beijing This is a _______. These are many men . women people boys girls children . 教学反思:本课是依据新课程的总体目标并结合教学内容,针对五年级学生生理和心理特点,遵循语言学习的规律而设计的。本课主要分两部分:第一部分让学生掌握重点单词:men, women, children, people, many和句子:This is a .(单数)These are .(复数)Many . 解决本课难点。让学生在小组间通过合作边学习使用语言。第二部分主要讲述李明、珍妮、丹尼等来到北京火车站后的所讲、所见。教学中主要是以学生兴趣为出发点,采用任务型教学途径,让学生在交流中使用英语,完成学习任务。做到在情境中呈现语言,在练习中巩固语言,在活动中运用语言。同时培养学生较好的文化意识与英语语感;教育学生在社会中做到尊老爱幼、遵守社会公共秩序;培养学生小组合作意识与互帮互助精神。 根据小学英语兴趣性原则、活动性原则和生活性原则,在实施教学过程中充分体现学生是学习的主体,调动学生的积极性。本课为学生生活中的话题。五年级的学生年龄在十岁左右,他们的知识和认知水平有限,对直观、新颖、有趣的材料容易理解和接受,因此,在教学中采用直观的图片、表演,以增强立体感,同时在课堂中设置真实的情景,让学生在情景中掌握单词,运用语言。在设计过程中以生活中的事物入手,重点培养学生的兴趣。 针对课文内容,创设整体的情景“大家一起乘坐火车去旅行”。通过一路上的所见所闻,把课文中的两部分有机地串联在一起,使学生在情境中学,在学习中用,贴切学生的生活实际,把听力、朗读、表演、游戏、歌曲、竞赛等环节融入到整体情境之中,使教学更加生动,气氛更加活跃。在教学过程中,贯彻以学生为中心的原则,尽可能发挥学生的主体作用,让学生真正地去感受知识、体验知识、积极参与、努力实践,在活动过程中,学会用语言进行交流,感受成功。 纵观整个教学,课堂上有激情,有活跃,有思考,有高潮。特别是在巩固课堂知识、运用课堂知识并加以扩展的过程中,我采取了学生竞赛的形式,极大的调动了学生的兴趣和参与的积极性,培养了学生的合作精神,增强了学生良好的竞争意识和集体主义精神,将教学推到了最高潮。
