Lesson20:A computer Helps!课标分析:了解世界上主要的节假日Easter及庆祝活动,关注中外文化异同,加深对中国文化的理解,能初步用英语介绍祖国的主要节日the Spring Festival 和典型的文化习俗。教材分析:本课通过上网了解复活节的情况。 Ms. Liu要求王梅去写一篇有关Easter的报告,王梅上网查询,并记录下查询结果。本课介绍了复活节的意义,时间和人们的庆祝活动。在文化小贴士中还向学生普及了复活节的由来。本课的知识结构清晰,适于培养学生的略读和寻读的阅读技巧,mind map既概括了复活节,又是对学生思维的拓展,更是对课文复述的很好的辅助,有助于培养学生的口语表达能力。在学习复活节的同时,对其他的节日尤其春节也是一种示范,提示学生从哪些方面去介绍更多的节日,让学生有话可说,有话可写,进而提升写作水平。学生分析:本单元教学内容围绕网络和生活展开,此类话题容易被学生接受,并能够主动、积极地探究学习。但是农村学生的英语学习氛围较差,使用英语的机会少,英语基础较差,不善于用英语交流和沟通,英语的口语表达能力有待提高。教学目标:能够记住并运用下列词汇和短语:laptop,enter,key,topic,hide(hid,hidden),depend on,Easter Bunny,search engine通过阅读掌握以下阅读策略,提高阅读能力:运用scanning(寻读)寻找细节抓住关键信息;复述课文,向他人介绍复活节。通过小组活动讨论春节,完成mind map并能写一篇有关the Spring Festival的小短文。5.网络具有两面性。网络很有用,不能沉迷于网络,让网络占用我们太多的时间。教学重点和难点:1.运用所学新单词和短语谈论如何在网上搜索信息。2.向他人介绍有关复活节的情况。3.写一篇有关春节的小短文。教学方法和手段:教学方法:任务型阅读 小组合作探究 教学手段:PPT教学用具:(1)利用歌曲设置情境(2)导学案教学过程:课前探究:学生在网上搜索有关Easter 和 the Spring Festival时间、意义和庆祝活动并进行交流。Step1: Lead-in and warm up1.Listen to a song《Easter Songs for Children》 and fill in the blanks.

2.Culture Tip The celebration of Easter is all about new life. Christians(基督徒)celebrate new life at Easter. Though (虽然)the meaning of Easter has changed over time(随着时间的流失), the rabbits and eggs remain(保留). Children use baskets to collect coloured eggs when they go hunting for Easter eggs. 【设计意图:】播放英文复活节童谣,活跃课堂气氛。介绍复活节的由来,使学生初步认识复活节,激起学生学习英语的兴趣,导入新课。3.Learn new words and phrases. The date depends on the moon, but it is always in March or April. ③.How do people celebrate Easter? People celebrate Easter with their family and friends. They eat delicious food together. In this way, it is like the Chinese Spring Festival. On Easter Day, many children have egg hunts and eat chocolate rabbits. Rabbits and eggs are Symbols of new life. TaskC: Search one of your favourite festivals on the Internet after class.Then introduce it to others in English class tomorrow. 【设计意图】分层作业,使不同层次的学生完成不同的作业。英语基础较差的学生可以完成复述,而基础较好的学生可以要求完成写的作业。关注学生的个体差异,有效做到因才施教。板书设计:教学反思:教师通过歌曲、课文录音、幻灯片、图片向学生展示复活节。分块教学先读后写,以读促写,由Easter拓展到the Spring Festival,利用mind map让学生复述课文,搭建语言支架,培养学生说的能力,先说后写,兼顾培养学生听、说、读、写的能力。课上让学生小组合作的形式相互交流,敢于用英语来表达自己的看法,培养学生合作意识和沟通交流的能力。对比Easter与the Spring Festival使学生乐于接触并了解异国文化,培养跨文化意识。分层作业更是关注到学生的个体差异,做到了因材施教。本节课学生参与性比较强,充分体现了学生是学习主体的地位。同时学生的学习兴趣比较浓厚,同学之间的合作交流比较顺畅,培养了学生合作精神,提醒学生网络具有两面性。网络很有用,但不能沉迷于网络,让网络占用我们太多的时间。
