3.进一步复习巩固动词不定式的用法。

4.现在完成时的用法。

教学思路

本课时的教学内容是冀教版八年级下册英语第七单元的第五课时,主要涉及介绍不同国家的特色。在授课之前先让学生通过调查了解其他国家的一些情况。课上可以通过让学生小组合作的形式进行相互交流;同时,教师通过幻灯片、图片、照片等向学生展示一些国家的特点并让学生用英语简单进行介绍。了解国家,了解世界。

教学过程

StepⅠ.Lead in

Leading in

Show some pictures about different countries.Then discuss the following questions:

T:Hello,boys and girls.What country  do your classmates come from?

S1:China./Japan.

S2:America./Canada.

T:What else?

S3:Egypt.

S4:Australia.

T:Today we will learn lesson 41 A class of the world

T: Which country/city would you like to visit?

S1: France....

T:What do you think of these countries or cities?

S5:Interesting./Wonderful.

S6:Beautiful./Relaxing.

Let the Ss discuss the questions in groups and present their talk in class.

[设计意图]　利用学生学过的内容,从询问知道的国家开始,轻松进入语境,进而介绍生词,图片的使用使学习更加形象直观,自然地进入谈论一些国家的新话题。

StepⅡ.Presentation

1.     Teaching aims:

Ss can talk about their home cities or hometowns.

3.Listening

  Listen the passage and finish Exercise1 in Let’s do it.

Ss read aloud and focus on the stressed words,pronunciation .

4. Reading

   Read the passage and finish Exercise2 in Let’s do it.

5. Group work

   Read the passage in groups and translate it into Chinese. Then present them in class.

  Ss finish the exercise on PPT.

[设计意图]　小组合作训练阅读,利用多媒体,展示本课重点。在练习中巩固本课需要掌握的句型.

6.Explain the key points.

Ask the students to read the passage again and finish No.3.

StepIV.Homework

Ask some students to finish No.4 in gorups

[设计意图]　No.4的重点是口语表达训练,同学们通过小组合作来完成。以谈论“自己的家乡”为话题,课文已经给出了一些句子,提供了一个语境完整、内容丰富的话题,自然呈现本单元的核心句型,为学生进一步掌握课文做了巩固。小组合作的形式,训练学生的合作意识,小组之间的竞争,激发学生的积极性。
