    A lie is tld t cver the truth in rder t benefit yurself, which can be harmful t thers. A white lie is tld t avid hurting thers, withut bad intentin.
    Telling a lie is the actin t deliberately tell smene smething that is nt true. Lies are tld fr a variety f reasns including a desire t save face, guide scial interactin, avid tensin r cnflict, preserve interpersnal relatinships. It is a cmmn element f scial interactin.
    A white lie is a small r harmless lie that yu tell t avid hurting smebdy. And the reasn that the lies are tld is t maintain plite scial manners and curtesies.

    An essay usually cnsists f three parts: intrductin, main bdy and cnclusin. Start with an intrductin that cntains the aims and an verview f the essay. The main bdy f an essay is a series f paragraphs that explre and develp yur argument. The cnclusin cntains a summary f yur ideas – d nt intrduce any new material here! End yur essay by linking yur cnclusin back t the essay title.

    D Nt Lie. It is never mrally right t tell a lie. Never. In such a situatin, I believe there must be an alternative, but nt tell a falsehd.
    3. Hw wuld yu feel if yu were tld a white lie? Share yur experience with the class if this has happened t yu.
    It depends. Smetimes, I wuld feel hurt; smetimes, maybe it’s just a lie.It’s necessary t be mindful f thers’ feelings, but that’s nt the green light t engage in utright lies just t appear kind r save face. Yes, many times white lies prvide just the right dse f lving intent, but there are instances where they can weaken relatinships r prvide a false sense f hpe r cnfidence.

    What is hnesty? Many children think hnesty means yu “dn’t tell a lie”-- and that is definitely part f being hnest. But hnesty means mre than nt lying. A mre cmplete definitin f hnesty shws that an hnest persn desn’t d things that are mrally wrng. If smething yu d is breaking the law r if yu have t hide what yu are ding because yu’ll get in truble, yu are prbably nt being hnest. S hnesty is abut speaking and acting truthfully.
    A big part f hnesty is what yu say and hw yu act tward thers. But anther part f the definitin f hnesty is whether yu treat yurself the same way. Being hnest with yurself means yu really knw why yu are acting in a certain way r whether what yu tell yurself is true. S hnesty is nt nly abut speaking and acting truthfully but als whether yu treat yurself the same way. Learning t be hnest and eliminating the need fr lies can help t clean up yur cnscience and yur relatinships.

    What we can learn frm the lines “Oh, what a tangled web we weave, When first we practice t deceive!” is that lying ften snwballs int a bigger prblem. If a persn starts ut by telling ne lie, then they have t fllw it up with anther and anther.
