Answer the questions(根据短文内容回答下列问题)
To Dream and to Create
According to Guinness World Records, Sydney girl Roxanne Downs is the world’s youngest magazine editor. She joined the It GiRL magazine in 2017 at the age of eight and has seen its readership grow continuously since then. In a recent interview, the girl shared her story and offered some great advice to young people.
Tell us about yourself and your role at It GiRL
I’m just an ordinary girl who likes to dream. I don’t like taking “no” for an answer. At It GiRL, I enjoy creating things and meeting new and exciting people.
So what is It GiRL? Can you introduce it to us?
Sure. It GiRL is a magazine that is based in Australia. It targets girls between the ages of 7 and 14. It offers games, puzzles, celebrity(名人) interviews, posters, jokes and many other interesting things.
So how did you end up becoming an editor when you were only eight years old?
It GiRL was actually my favorite magazine. I was always coming home and sharing my ideas for it with my parents. One of the magazine’s editors was a friend of my dad’s. Soon after he came to know my story, I started to edit the magazine, interview famous people and attend meetings with people five times my age.
Apart from your own, do you have a favorite record in Guinness World Records, or maybe one that you want to break?
I’m the shortest girl in my whole class at school. So it may be fun to be the tallest person in the world even if just for one day!
Do you have any advice for other young people?
Sure. If you know what your dream is, then chase it because a dream will not chase you back. Just go for it because you never know what will happen unless you try.

Answer the questions (根据短文内容回答下列问题)(12分)
Mark Twain is one of the most quoted authors ever. There are hundreds of his quotations(语录)in books, on posters and on websites. Here is an example:
“If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything.” ——Mark Twain.
Quotations like this one give us guidance. It reminds us that telling a lie is much more difficult than telling the truth. Telling a lie means you have to remember what you said each time you tell the lie. If you tell the truth, there is nothing to remember. He suggests that you shouldn’t lie not because it is wrong, but because it is hard work. Here is another example.
“Always obey your parents when they are present” ——Mark Twain.
Again, the quotation gives good advice——to always obey your parents, but the humorous part is when they are present. The quotation tells you to obey your parents when they are there with you——because they can see what you are doing.
Albert Einstein’s questions are also popular. Many of his quotations are inspirational (鼓励人心的). This means that they help us to do our best and be the best person we can be. Here is an example:
“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.” ——Albert Einstein.
This is a much more serious quotation than the two Mark Twain ones. It gives us a lot to think about. Also, because this was said by Albert Einstein, it makes us want to take the quotation serious. This quotation gives us hope that we can learn any mistake we made yesterday. It reminds us to always look closely at everything we do and ask the right questions to help us achieve our best.
78. Where are Mark Twain’s quotations always used?
79. Telling a lie is easier than telling the truth, isn’t it?
80. According to Mark Twain, why should we always obey our parents when they are present?
81. What does “Learn from yesterday” in Albert Einstein’s quotation really mean?
82. What’s the purpose of not to stop questioning?
83. Among the three quotations above, which one impresses(印象) you most? Why

十一、阅读回答问题
Half a year before graduation from college, my son began to seek a job. Due to the financial crisis, fewer companies would like to employ new staff. My son targeted a company that was going to hire only one person while there were more than twenty people filling their resumes.
After the interview, there would only be 3 who could enter the final round, which would later decide one person to be employed. Everything seemed to go quite well and my son passed the first round and entered the final round in a week.
On the day of the final interview, my son and other two candidates arrived at the interview place on time, waiting for the test. Unexpectedly, the interview was unbelievably simple. The interviewer only said to them, all of you are very super. Please go home and wait for our notice. We will tell you the result in 3 days. Good luck to all of you!" On the morning of the third day, my son received a text from the company shortly after breakfast that he was not employed. We all felt very disappointed.
In nightfall that day, my son suddenly told me excitedly on the phone, "Da, I have been employed!" Greatly surprised, I could not wait to ask him, "What's the whole matter?" My son told me that he received another text saying that he was employed. Actually, the first text sent to my son was also part of the test in the interview. Three men received the same text this morning and only my son’s reply was "Thank you." While the others said "Goodbye.".
Only then did I know that my son's "hope" came in that way. That is, when you feel disappointed, do not forget to say "Thank you." to the one who disappoints you. Saying Thank you." shows respect for others work and shows you are generous. Therefore, while under the same condition, you will get the upper hand in terms of opportunities compared with others!
