Cartgraphers,als called mapmakers,study and interpret(诠释) gegraphic infrmatin. They use this infrmatin t make detailed maps f places arund the glbe. Sme f these maps are digital. They are ften used in GPS systems. Other maps are printed in bks. T d their wrk, cartgraphers put tgether infrmatin frm many different places. They als use grund surveys. Mst cartgraphers have a bachelr’s(学士) degree. The degree might be in cartgraphy,gegraphy, r smething similar. Students wh are interested in becming cartgraphers shuld learn as much as they can abut gegraphy. It als helps t take curses in maths and cmputer science.
With the rise f cmputer-based tls such as GPS systems,cartgraphers need strnger cmputer skills than they did in the past.
