    (2021·吉林长春市·长春外国语学校高三期末) One night in 1966, Michael Chapman rushed int a flk-music club in Crnwall, England t get ut f the rain, and sn fund himself nstage playing the guitar.

    “The fascinating thing abut Michael Chapman is that he desn’t fit in with thse guys f his generatin,” says Andrew Male, a music jurnalist. “He’s always been an utsider. He never mved t Lndn. ”
    And while he never became part f the Lndn music scene, Chapman was nticed by thse musicians. “The 70s caught up with him in the 80s,” Male says. “He had a huge heart attack at the end f the 80s that nearly finished him ff. When he made his way back int the wrld in the early 90s, peple had frgtten abut him.” But nt everyne. A yunger generatin f musicians in America, including Thurstn Mre f Snic Yuth and a yunger singer and guitarist named Steve Gunn, recently rediscvered Chapman.
