一 现在进行时态的一般疑问句
1. Explain the use of the present continuous tense.
现在进行时态的一般疑问句是将be动词提到主语之前构成,回答时使用be动词。
—Are you looking for a hotel?
你在寻找一家旅馆吗?
—Yes, I am. / No, I am not.
是的,我在(寻找一家旅馆)。/不,我没有(在寻找一家旅馆)。
—Are they listening to the radio?
他们在听收音机吗?

二 祈使句
1. Explain the imperative sentences to the class.
祈使句表示请求、命令、要求对方做某事。肯定的祈使句以动词原形开头,否定的祈使句在动词原形前加don’t。为了表示委婉的语气,还可以在句子开头或末尾加please。
Sit down. 坐下。
Please come in. 请进来。
Let us have a try. 让我们试一试。
Don’t shout in the classroom. 不要在教室里大声喊叫。
Don’t open the present now, please. 请不要现在打开礼物。

“No +名词/动名词”表示“禁止做某事”。
