设计说明 首先通过检查学生作业复习表示学习用品的单词,并利用本课Let’s Do It!中的No.3巩固对单词的拼写;接着复习上节课的Excuse me. May I have/borrow...?及其回答。然后通过设置购买学习用品的情景来学习生词,并利用教材上Let’s Do It!中的No.1的内容来练习对数字听和写的能力。接着过渡到对课文的学习,通过读课文回答问题加强学生对课文的理解,并利用课文学习购物单的写法和电子邮件的格式。最后利用教材上Let’s Do It!中的No.4的内容来练习购物单的写法。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握单词:thing, need, list, ten, six, seven, one, nine, eight 短语和句型:What about...? shopping list 2.能力目标 (1)学会用英语数词正确表达物体的数量; (2)学会列清单; (3)了解电子邮件的英语格式。 3.情感目标 养成事前进行周密计划的好习惯。 重点难点 1. 重点:(1)本课节所学的单词、短语和句型; (2)学会用英语数词正确表达物体的数量。 2. 难点:学会列购物清单。 教学准备 PPT 课件,本课节的有关音频。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up 1. Check homework. Complete the mind map with classroom objects in Let’s Do It! No. 2 in Lesson 5.
Answers: (choose five from these)pen, book, ruler, eraser, crayon, pencil box, ball. 2. Review the words of school objects with the whole class, then complete the crossword puzzle in Let’s Do It! No. 3 in Lesson 6.

Step 2 Presentation Teach the new words thing, need, list, ten, six, seven, one, nine, eight and the phrase shopping list. Teacher says: Now, I need one pencil box, six pens, seven pencils, eight erasers, nine crayons and ten rulers. So many things!(Ask the class) May I borrow all of these things from you? If not, I need to go shopping. Show the new words and teach them. Make sure the class remember them.
Step 3 Listening Teacher says:Now,Danny wants to buy many things. Listen to the recording and fill in the blanks with correct numbers. Danny wants to buy five erasers, _________ classrooms, two pencils boxes, ________ pens, _________ pencils, one library, __________ crayons, three rulers, ___________ playgrounds and four labs. Answers: ten, six, seven, nine, eight Step 4 Reading 1. Get the class to read the email following the recording. 2. Read the email by themselves and answer the following questions.(Let’s Do It! No.2) 1. Does Danny like school? 2. Are his new friends nice? 3. Can he buy all the things on his list at a store? Why or why not? Answers: 1. Yes, he does. 2. Yes, they are. 3. No, he can’t. Because the store doesn’t have classrooms, libraries, playgrounds or labs. Step 5 Presentation Make a shopping list. In order to remember the shopping things, we can write them in a piece of paper.We must make a shopping list. Now look at the shopping list.

What about...? = How about...? ……怎么样? about为介词,what/how about后接名词、代词或动名词。用法如下: ①用来询问情况或打听消息等。 My ruler is very nice. What/How about yours? 我的尺子很好。你的呢? ②用来提出请求、建议或征求对方的意见。其肯定回答常用:Good idea. Sounds good.等;否定回答常用:Sorry, I’m afraid I can’t. What/How about going shopping now? 现在去购物如何? 2. I need to buy some things for my classes.我需要为上课买一些东西。 need v. 需要。此时,need有人称、数和时态的变化;构成否定句和疑问句时要借助于助动词do或does。主要有以下用法: ① need sth.需要某物 I need your help.我需要你的帮助。 ② need to do sth.需要做某事 Our teachers need to plan lessons. 我们的老师需要备课。 ③ need doing...需要被做…… The little boy needs looking after.这个小男孩需要被照顾。 【拓展】 ① need modal v. 需要。一般用于疑问句或否定句中,没有人称和数的 变化, 后须接动词原形。 You needn’t help me.你不需要帮助我。 Need I go home now? 现在我需要回家吗? ② need n. 需要 There’s no need to do that.没有必要做那件事。 3. Here is my list. 这是我的清单。 “Here is/are +名词” 意为“这是……,这儿有……”,为倒装句,is后跟可数名词单数或不可数名词,are后跟可数名词复数形式。 Here is a book.这儿有一本书。 Here are some pencils.这儿有一些铅笔。 注意:在here 开头的句子中,如果主语是代词,则不倒装。 Here he is.他来了。 4. Danny wants to buy five erasers...丹尼想买五块橡皮。 want v. 想,想要。主要有以下用法: ①want sth.想要某物 I want a new computer. 我想要一台电脑。 ②want to do sth.想要做某事 Tom wants to visit Hainan. 汤姆想游览海南。 ③want sb. to do sth. 想要某人做某事 The teacher wants the students to listen carefully. 老师想要学生认真听讲。 Step 10 Homework 1.
