设计说明

首先,利用本课Let’s Do It！No.2的内容复习表示食物和饮料的单词，并通过呈现其他学过的表示饮食的单词叫让学生分辨处出好的食物和不好的食物；接着，过度到对本课生词短语的学习，并利用Let’s Do It！No.3来巩固所学的生词；然后通过Let’s Do It! No. 1的听力进入对课文的学习：；通过阅读回答问题、阅读填空学习课文内容，并复述课文。同时，利用课文中的建议tips练习how many和how much的使用。最后，处理Dig in中的问题。整个教学过程由单词导入课文，并通过多种方式加深对课文的理解，最终完全掌握课文。

通过本课节的教学，学生达成以下目标：

接触词汇：takeout, tip, P.S.

短语和句型：be away, get enough rest, watch TV, every day

Step 1  Review

1. Check homework.

2. Review the food/ and drink words.

 1. Get the class to search for food/ and drink words.(Let’s Do It! No.2)

Answers: tea, meat, bread, orange, pear, cake, milk, water, apple, rice, banana                 

2. Show the class some food/ and drink pictures and get the class to say them out them in English. And then tell what food/drink is good and what food/drink are is bad for our health. 

 Good food: ________________  Bad food: ______________________

Step 2  Presentation 

1. Teach the new words sandwich, takeout, away and only a by using the pictures and the discussion.

  Teacher says: What food is this? ( It’s a sandwich.) This is takeout food. How many hamburgers can you see.(? (Only one.) Look at the room. It’s empty now. The man and woman are away. Look at the paper. Here are some tips.

2. Get the class to remember the new words.

Step 3  Practice

Get the class to tick the correct word for each description.(Let’s Do It! No. 3)

Step 6  Reading and filling

Step 8  Conversation

 Get the class to make up conversations according to the table in Step 6.

Note: How many+可数名词的复数形式；how much+不可数名词

Step 9  Dig in

 Go through it and explain it. Then get the class to match.

  be away不在，离开。强调状态。

  “be away for+时间段”  离开……（一段时间）

  “be away from…” 远离…………

  We should be away from fire. 我们应远离火。   

  2. eat only one donut a day 一天只吃一个面包圈

   only 〔副词〕仅仅，；只。 常位于系动词be、情态动词、助动词之后，

   实义动词之前。

   She is only three years old. 她仅仅3岁。

   I only like Chinese. 我只喜欢汉语。

  【注意】only在句中的位置不同，修饰的词语不同，意思也就不同。

   Only Tom wants two books. 只有汤姆想要两本书。

   Tom only wants two books. 汤姆仅仅想要两本书。

   Tom wants only two books. 汤姆要的仅仅是两本书。
