设计说明 首先通过老师和学生之间的相互自我介绍,让学生掌握自我介绍的基本句型结构。做了铺垫之后,让学生进入到对阳光中学的六名学生的了解,熟悉他们之间打招呼的方式和时间。接下来让学生学会在不同的时间用不同的方式打招呼。然后继续把介绍对方作为切入点,引出Eddie和Hobo这两个卡通人物,在通读对话的基础上,掌握一定的语言知识。 教学目标 通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握词汇:e-dog,master。 2.能力目标 (1)能够学会用简单的英语介绍自己。 (2)能够在不同的时间用正确的方式打招呼。 3.情感目标 树立正确的时间观念,礼貌待人,学会和老师、同学和睦相处。 重点难点 重点:掌握用英语自我介绍的方法 难点:在不同的时间选择不同的方式打招呼 教学准备 PPT课件;相关图片 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up The teacher and students introduce each other. T: Hi, I’m.... What’s your name? S: My name is… Step 2 Presentation Present Part A on page 7. Ask students to meet new friends from Sunshine Middle School. They are Zhao Mei/Amy, Luo Sang/Simon, Wang Li/Millie, Zhang Ke/Kitty, Li Shanshan/Sandy and Chen Dan/Daniel. Practise their names again and again, trying to remember what they look like.
Step 3 Practice 1. Read what they are saying and practise their dialogues with students’ classmates. 2. Read Part C on page 7.Let students practise the dialogue in pairs. Encourage students to add some facial expressions and body languages. Step 4 Presentation 1. Present Part B. Explain people use different greetings at different times. 2. Finish Part B on page 7. Step 5 Presentation 1. Present Eddie and Hobo. And explain the relationship between them. This is Eddie. It is a real dog. This is Hobo. It is an e-dog. Eddie is Hobo’s master. Present the new words: master,the master of. 2. Read Eddie and Hobo’s dialogue and answer: 1) What’s in Hobo’s hands? 2) What’s the name of the book? Answers: 1)An e-dog. 2) How to Look After Your E-dog. 3. Ask students to read the dialogue fluently and then try to act it out. If possible, they can add some facial expressions and body languages. Then get some pairs to act it out in front of the class. Step 6 Language points Explain some important language points. 1. Oh, I love e-dogs.哦,我喜爱电子狗。 an e-dog 一只电子狗 a e-dog(×) 2. Now read this book.现在读读这本书吧。 read this book看书 read newspapers看报纸 (read表示阅读有文字的书籍、报刊、杂志等) watch TV看电视 watch a match 看一场比赛(watch 表示观看动态的物体) 3. How to Look After Your E-dog《如何照顾你的电子狗》 (1) how to do sth. 怎样做某事,如何做某事 how to sing怎样唱 how to write如何写 (2)look after照顾,照料= take care of Step 7 Homework 1. Greet your friends at different times. 2. Read all the conversations aloud. 3.
