Unit 2  Let’s play sports! Reading设计说明首先复习上节课中Sandy和Millie, Kitty, Simon, Amy所喜欢的运动，引出话题；通过介绍老师自己喜欢的运动员的信息，呈现本单元的新单词和相关短语。运用对话，让学生加深对单词和词组的记忆，以此减轻学生阅读和理解课文的难度。通过略读和精读课文，让学生掌握文章的结构和脉络，最终学会用英语介绍自己喜欢的运动员。教学目标通过本单元的教学，让学生达成以下目标：1.知识目标掌握新单词及短语：player, member, club, free, hope, dream, true, come true。 2.能力目标(1)能够读懂有关介绍运动员的文章。(2)能够用英语介绍自己喜欢的一名运动员。 3.情感目标 鼓励学生多加强体育锻炼,告诫学生追求具有正能量的偶像，并能够将这种正能量发挥到自己今后的学习和生活中。重点难点重点：掌握一些重要的短语和句型难点：学会用英语描述自己喜欢的一个运动员教学准备PPT课件；相关图片授课时数2课时教学过程Step 1  Warming up1.
