Module 2  My neighbourhoodUnit 4  Jobs people do (Stage 1)Reading: People’s jobs设计说明呈现有关各种职业的图片，让学生结对练习，询问图片中人物的职业以及每天的工作，由此导入本课的学习。通过给提示，分小组猜职业，加深学生对各种职业的了解。呈现生词，为后面的学习做好语言铺垫。通过听课文、读课文，让学生听懂、读懂。接下来，通过让学生回答问题的形式，细读课文，掌握信息要点。通过填表练习，让学生提炼课文信息，并能够写出来。给出课文结构，让学生背诵课文。结合练习册上的练习，检验学生是否能够根据已给信息正确描述职业。对重要的知识点进行讲解，增加学生的语言积累。结合当堂达标的练习，检测学生对本课节知识的掌握情况，提升语言运用能力。教学目标通过本课节的教学，让学生达成以下目标：1.知识目标掌握本课节新词汇：block, architect, construction, company, type, removal；能用一般现在时谈论习惯性的动作或状态。2.能力目标能读懂有关人们职业的文章，能够完成知识提取和信息转换。3.情感目标让学生了解社会生活所需要的各行各业，鼓励他们正确认识各行各业的价值。重点难点重点：掌握本课节新词汇block, architect, construction, company, type, removal；能用一般现在时谈论习惯性的动作或状态。难点：能读懂有关人们职业的文章，能够完成知识提取和信息转换。教学准备PPT课件；活动Read的录音，有关各种职业的图片，如秘书、记者、厨师、歌手、飞行员、邮递员、售货员、消防员等。授课时数1课时  教学过程Step 1 Warming up1.
