        Module 2  My neighbourhoodUnit 6  Different places (Stage 4)Writing: Life in different seasons设计说明通过四季图片,让学生熟悉本节课话题,由此导入新课。讲解现在进行时,为后面描述图片做语言上的准备。通过看图、听录音以及表演对话,学习Look and read的内容。向学生展示玫瑰花园社区的四季图,引导学生对图片进行描述。可先选取一张图片进行示范,这有助于引导学生观察并表达图片的意思,接下来再让学生结对练习,描述其他图片,培养学生善于观察、敢于表达的能力。然后给学生布置写作任务,让他们描写自己社区的四季,由此提高学生的写作水平,锻炼他们的语言综合运用能力。讲解部分知识点。最后设置课堂达标检测。教学目标通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标:1.知识目标学习现在进行时。2.能力目标能够读懂有关的图片并进行对话;能够结合图片介绍社区四季的情况。3.情感目标培养学生认真观察的习惯,激发学生语言表达的热情。重点难点重点学习现在进行时难点能够读懂有关的图片并进行对话;能够结合图片介绍社区四季的情况教学准备PPT课件;活动Look and read的录音;有关四季的图片授课时数1课时教学过程Step 1 Warming up1. Show some pictures of four seasons and ask the students to tell which season it is.       2. Ask them to say what they do in spring/summer/autumn/winter. Step 2 Grammar 现在进行时现在进行时表示正在进行或发生的动作。其谓语结构是“be(am/is/are)+动词-ing形式”。1. 现在进行时的几种句式肯定句:主语+be (am/is/are) +动词-ing.否定句:主语+be (am/is/are) not+动词-ing.一般疑问句:Be (Am/Is/Are) +主语+动词-ing?特殊疑问句:疑问词+ be (am/is/are) +动词-ing?2.动词-ing形式的构成一般在动词末尾加-ingeat-eating   study-studying以不发音的字母e结尾的动词,先去e,再加-ingwrite-writing   come-comingmake-making元音字母+辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节词,先双写这个辅音字母,再加-ingget-getting  sit-sitting  run-runningbegin-beginning  3.现在进行时的时间状语常与now, these days, this week, at the moment等时间状语连用。有时句首有“Look!”“Listen!”等提示语。He is reading a book now.现在他正在读一本书。My father isnt watching TV at the moment. 此刻我的爸爸没在看电视。 Step 3 Look and sayShow some pictures and ask the students to say what the people in the pictures are doing. Give them some words and expressions to help them.         clean the room               swim in the swimming poolThey are cleaning the room.   They are swimming in the swimming pool.             read a book                 sing a songHe is reading a book.       She is singing a song.  Step 4 Look and read1. Play the recording of the dialogue. Let the students listen to it. 2. Play the recording again. Pause by sentence so the students follow in their books. 3. Let the students practice the dialogue in pairs. Select pairs to read the dialogue.  Step 5 Look, ask and answer1. Tell the students to look at the pictures of Rose Garden Estate in different seasons.       • the leaves are falling• birds are making nests in the trees• the students are wearing winter uniforms• people are swimming in the swimming pool2. Ask the questions about the first picture like this:T: What season is it in the first picture?S1: It’s summer.T: Why?S2: It’s summer because people are swimming in the swimming pool. 3. Let the students practice in pairs. S1: What season is it in the second/third/fourth picture?S2: It’s _____.S1: Why?S3: It’s _____ because … Step 6 Write 1. Ask the students to draw pictures or take photographs of his/her neighbourhood in different seasons. Then write about them.2. Give them an example: It is very hot and sunny. Lucy and John are lying on the beach. Lucy is eating an ice-cream. It is summer.  It is cool and windy. The kids are flying their kites in the park. It is autumn. It is warm. Flowers are growing. The lady is looking at the flowers. It is spring. It is cold and windy. The children are wearing warm clothes. They are making a snowman. It is winter. 3. Ask some students to read their writing.  Step 7 Language points1. Its winter because people are wearing warm clothes and gloves.它是冬季,因为人们正穿着暖和的衣服并戴着手套。1because〔连词〕因为;由于because引导的原因状语从句可以放在主句前或主句后,because(因为)与so(所以)不能同时用于一个句子中。We like the city because its clean. 我们喜欢这座城市,因为它很整洁。The city is clean, so we like it.这座城市很整洁,因此我们喜欢它。【注意】because常用来回答用why提出的问句。Why do you like your teacher?你为什么喜欢你的老师?Because shes kind.因为她很善良。2glove名词〕(分手指的)手套通常用复数形式。a pair of gloves一副手套Are these gloves yours?这些手套是你的吗?2. birds are making nests in the trees鸟正在树上筑巢1make nests筑巢nest名词〕鸟巢;鸟窝Look! The two birds are making nests.看!那两只鸟儿正在筑巢呢。2辨析:in the treeon the treein the tree指原本不是树本身所有的东西,如人、动物等on the tree指树本身长出的东西,如枝、叶、花、果等There is a monkey in the tree.树上有一只猴子。There are some red apples on the tree. 树上有一些红苹果。 Step 8 HomeworkImprove the writing Four seasons.当堂达标. 选择最恰当的答案1.
