Module 3　Diet and healthUnit 10 A birthday party (Stage 1)Reading: Preparing for Ben’s birthday party设计说明首先针对过生日提出几个问题，引起学生的兴趣，并由此导入新课。呈现生词、短语，减轻后面的学习负担。接着让学生带着问题听本课对话，让学生学会在听录音时抓关键信息。然后让学生听并跟读，进行口语训练。在问答环节，让学生自行补全对话，并选择接受邀请和拒绝邀请两种情景来组织对话，给学生充分操练对话的机会。同时给出在生日聚会上可以举行的活动的相关词汇，帮学生掌握本课重要句式和表达的用法。再给出一幅与本课内容相关的海报，让学生通过阅读海报内容，抓取关键信息，完成对应的习题，提升阅读理解能力。并让学生针对海报内容写出回信，增强语言实际运用能力。通过知识点的讲解，让学生扎实掌握英语知识。最后，通过当堂达标题来让学生巩固所学知识。 教学目标通过本课节的教学，让学生达成以下目标：1.知识目标掌握本课节新词汇：sound, forward, look forward to, pity；掌握be going to表示将来的用法。2.能力目标能够读懂有关邀约的对话，能谈论如何邀请他人并能就是否赴约写一封回信。3.情感目标增强与人沟通交流的能力。增强组织协调的能力。重点难点重点：学习本课节新词汇及重要表达。难点：能读懂有关邀约的对话，学会邀请他人以及礼貌地接受或拒绝别人的邀请。教学准备PPT课件；活动Read的录音；有关生词的图片授课时数1课时教学过程Step 1 Warming up1.
