Unit 2 School life Grammar 设计说明通过上节课中含有more…than的句子导入今天学习的内容。利用课文原图进行物品数量的比较,学习新授知识——谈论可数/不可数名词的量的比较。然后通过Nancy, John, Daniel和学生自己的学校生活的几个方面的比较,再一次巩固所学内容。因为学生已掌握了形容词比较级的构成方式,直接讲解副词的比较级和最高级的构成。最后通过课本习题和适量小练习当堂检测所学知识。教学目标通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标:1.知识目标掌握词汇:least, further, farther, furthest, farthest2.能力目标(1)运用more...than, fewer...than和less...than比较两者的数量。(2)运用the most比较三个或三个以上的事物,表示数量最多; 运用the fewest和the least比较三个或三个以上的事物,表示数量最少。(3)掌握副词比较级和最高级的构成,并正确运用。3.情感目标 让学生感受语言的趣味性,同时也让学生知晓更多的比较级、最高级用法。重点难点重点:正确运用“fewer/less…than”和“the fewest/least”比较可数与不可数名词的量难点:正确构成副词比较级和最高级并恰当使用教学准备PPT课件授课时数1课时教学过程Step 1 Lead-in 1.Show the following sentence students have learned last class.I often read more books than my classmates.2.Ask students to find the phrase“比……多”,and then say its antisense phrases “比……少”。more…than 比……多 ↓比……少:less…thanfewer…thanStep 2 Presentation A Comparing the amount of things1. We can compare the amount of things using more...than, fewer...than and less...than.(1) Ask students to try to compare the amount of things in the two pictures. Millie has more tomatoes than Daniel. Daniel has more bananas than Millie.Millie has more eggs than Daniel. Daniel has more meat than Millie.Millie has fewer bananas than Daniel. Daniel has more juice than Millie.Millie has less juice than Daniel. Daniel has more rice than Millie.Millie has less rice than Daniel.
