设计说明

首先通过复习颜色导入新课，然后学习彩虹七色，由此开展对话。通过Hobo和Eddie的对话，提出本单元所涉及的颜色话题，让大家对本单元产生兴趣。最后通过练习来复习本课时的内容。

教学目标

通过本课时的教学, 让学生达成以下目标：

1.知识目标

掌握单词和短语: indigo, violet, rainbow, look good on。

2.能力目标

(1)通过听说训练,学会描述彩虹七色和自己最喜欢的颜色。

(2)通过听说训练,激起学生对本单元的兴趣,培养学生的听说能力。

3.情感目标

通过学习喜欢的颜色,让学生热爱多彩的大自然,培养学生良好的情操。

重点难点

重点：表示颜色的单词和短语。

难点：wear, put on, dress和in的用法辨析。

Step 1  Lead-in

Show a question “What colour is it?” and revise the words of colours.

Step 2  Presentation  

1. Show them a picture of a rainbow and present some new words: rainbow, indigo, violet.

2. Ask them to ask and answer about the rainbow.

  (1) What can you see in the picture?

(2) When can you see it?

(3) How many colours are there?

(4) What are they?

Step 3  Practice

1. Ask the students to listen to the tape in Part B. Fill in the blanks.

There are ________ colours in a rainbow. They’re ________, _________, ________,

________, ________, _________ and ________. Shirley’s favourite colour is ________.

Amy’s favourite colour is _________.

Answers: seven; red; orange; yellow; green; blue; indigo; violet; green; orange

2. Read the dialogue in Part B and practice in pairs.

3. Make up new dialogues with partners.

B：Really? Do you know how many colours there are?

A：Sure. There are… colours.

Step 4  Comic strip

1. Ask students to listen to the tape about Hobo and Eddie. Answer the questions.

Which colour does Eddie want to wear, pink or blue? Why?

Answers: Blue. Because he thinks blue is better than pink. Pink is a girl’s colour.

2. Listen and read the dialogue in pairs.

3. Act it out.

4. Fill in the blanks according to the dialogue.

Eddie wants to ________ clothes. Hobo brings him two clothes. One is _________, and the other is ________. Eddie thinks blue is _________ than pink because ________ is a girl’s colour. Hobo says there is _________ wrong ________ pink and helps Eddie put on the ________. Hobo is not sure if blue ________ good ________ Eddie.

Step 5  Language points

1. Which one do you want to wear, Eddie? 埃迪，你想穿哪一件？

wear 动词，意为“穿着”，后跟衣服，表示穿的状态。

put on 意为“穿上”，后跟衣服，表示穿的动作。

dress 名词，意为“礼服，长裙”；动词，意为“给……穿衣服”，后跟人作宾语。

in 介词，意为“穿着”，后跟颜色或衣物，表示状态。

用wear, put on, dress或in填空。

(1) It is too cold outside. ________ your coat, please.

(2) The girl likes ________ red clothes.

2. But there’s nothing wrong with pink, you know. 但是你知道，粉红色没什么不好。

=Nothing is wrong with this bike. You can ride it. 这辆自行车没有问题, 你可以骑。

Is there anything wrong with your computer? 你的电脑有问题吗？

3. And I’m not sure if blue looks good on you. 而且我不确定你穿蓝色是否好看。

（1）if 意为“是否”，引导宾语从句，后面跟陈述语序。

I don’t know if he will come to see me. 我不知道他是否会来看我。

Tell me if you have been to Beijing. 告诉我你是否已经去过北京。

（2）Sth. looks good on sb. 某物穿在某人身上好看。 Sb. looks good in sth. 某人穿某物好看。

I think the red coat looks good on you.

=I think you look good in the red coat. 我认为你穿红色的大衣好看。
