设计说明

由谈论friend引入新课的学习。对课文的教学采取由整体到细节的顺序,通过根据课文内容完成句子提升学生对课文细节的理解和把握。进行有针对性的写作训练,提升学生的书面表达能力。

教学目标

通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标:

1. 知识目标

掌握本单元新单词及短语: everyone, capital, but, very, big, city, small, first, last, all, first name, last name。

2. 能力目标

（1）能够熟悉be的用法。

（2）能够理解有关人物介绍的简单的文章。

Step 1　Leading in

1. Ask the students to talk in groups.

Who are your friends?

2. Learn some words and expressions together.

Hello, everyone.

Beijing is the capital of China.

Wang Hui is my friend, but he is not in my class.

Shanghai is a very big city.

It’s a small city in England.

Tony is my first name and Smith is my last name.

Step 2　Warming up

1. Match.

(1) Ask the students to match the expressions individually.

first name 一个小城市

last name ……的首都

a big city 姓

a small city 我的好朋友

the capital of...  一个大城市

my good friend 名字

(2) Check the answers with the students.

Answers:

Read the passage in Activity 2 and answer:

Step 4　Careful reading

Read the passage in Activity 2 and check (√) the true sentences.

(1) Ask the students to read the passage for several minutes.

(2) Get them to check the following sentences.

1 Henry is Daming’s English name.

2 Lingling’s English name is Linda.

3 Daming is twelve years old.

4 Wang Hui is from Beijing.

5 Tony is twelve years old.

6 Tony is from the capital of England.

(3) Ask them to compare their answers with a partner.

(4) Call back the answers from the whole class.

Step 5　Language points

1. Hello, everyone. 大家好。

everyone是不定代词，意为“大家；每人”，表达整体概念，只能用来指人。

Everyone is here. 大家都在这儿。

【注意】everyone作主语时，谓语动词用单数。

Everyone likes this school. 大家都喜欢这所学校。

2. Wang Hui is my friend, but he is not in my class.

王辉是我的朋友,但是他不在我的班里。

辨析: but与and

It is a good bag, but I don’t like it.

这个包很好,但是我不喜欢它。

My mother likes juice and my father likes tea.

我妈妈喜欢果汁,我爸爸喜欢茶。

3. It’s nice to meet you all. 很高兴见到你们所有的人。

It+be+形容词+to do sth.，表示“做某事是……的”,其中it是形式主语,动词不定式（短语）是真正的主语。

It is important to learn English well.

学好英语是重要的。

Step 6　Post reading

1. Underline the correct words.

(1) Get the students to do the task individually and then check with a partner.

Smith is Tony’s (1) first/last name, and Tony is his (2) first/last name. He’s from Cambridge. In Tony’s class, Tony and Lingling are thirteen years old and (3)everyone/Daming is (4)twelve/thirteen years old. Lingling is Daming’s  (5)student/friend.

(2) Call back the answers from the whole class.

2. Read and complete the table.
