设计说明

通过展示几组不同的人正在做的不同事情的图片，引导学生谈论有关正在发生的事情，很自然地导入新课，激发学生学习的兴趣。依据课本，通过设置不同的任务，学习对话，培养学生听说与交际的能力，指导学生学习课文中出现的知识点，提升解题能力。最后通过训练，让学生实际运用所学知识。

教学目标

通过本单元的教学，让学生达成以下目标：

1. 知识目标

掌握本单元新单词及短语：postcard, call, lie, sun, line, take, take photos, wait, wait for, walk, trip, few, a few, sale, on sale, enjoy, anyway, back, go back。

2. 能力目标

(1) 能听懂对话中谈论的正在发生的事情；

(2) 能用现在进行时讨论正在发生的事情。

3. 情感目标

(1) 培养学生热爱自己家园的意识；

(2) 通过参加各种英语活动，能够克服语言困难，树立正确的语言学习观。

重点：本单元的重点单词、短语和句型。

难点：现在进行时的用法。

Step 1　Lead-in

1. Warm up:

T: Can you sing what are you doing?

2. Ask and answer.

(1) Present some pictures to the students and ask them to work in pairs.

Step 2  Pair work and listening

1. Work in pairs. Look at the pictures and talk about them.

2. Listen and number the pictures.

(1) Play the recording for the students.

(2) Ask them to number the pictures in the order they hear the actions.

(3) Play the recording again to check the answers.

Step 6  Language points

1. We’re on a school trip. 我们现在正在参加学校旅行。

trip (尤指短途的) 旅行，旅游，外出。on a trip意为“在一次旅行中，进行旅行”，注意介词的使用。

Let’s go on a school trip together on Thursday.

周四我们一起参加学校旅行吧。

[拓展]  take a trip to…去……旅行     go on a trip去旅行

2. Lingling is buying a few presents and postcards.

玲玲正在买一些礼物和明信片。

a few意为“一些，几个”， 修饰可数名词复数，表示肯定意义。

There are a few pictures on the wall. 墙上有几幅图画。

[辨析] few, a few, little, a little

He is new here, so he has few friends. 他是新来的，他没有几个朋友。

There is a little milk in the bottle. 瓶子里还有一点牛奶。

3. Daming is having lunch and lying in the sun. 大明正躺在太阳底下吃午饭。

lie 不及物动词，此处表示 “躺在某处，平放” , 其现在分词为lying。

[拓展] (1) 注意lie 后接的地点不同，介词不同

在太阳下躺着  lie in the sun   躺在床上  lie on the bed   

躺在地板上    lie on the floor   躺在树下  lie under a tree

Daming is lying under a tree. 大明正躺在一棵树下。

(2) lie 作不及物动词，还可意为“说谎，撒谎”；用作名词，意为“谎言”，其复数形式为lies。

He is lying. = He is telling a lie. 他在撒谎。

4. We’re enjoying the school trip a lot.

我们非常喜欢学校的这次旅行活动。

(1) enjoy是动词, 意为“喜欢, 享受”, 其后可跟名词、代词或动词的-ing形式, 其意义和用法均与love和like相近。

He enjoys / loves travelling very much. 他非常喜欢旅游。

[拓展] enjoy还常用于短语enjoy oneself中，表示“过得愉快, 感到快乐”，相当于have a good time。

I enjoy myself here. 我在这儿过得很快乐。

We enjoy ourselves in the park. 我们在公园里玩得很高兴。

(2) a lot可以用来修饰形容词、副词、动词，表示“非常, 很”，相当于very much。

Monkeys like eating bananas a lot. 猴子非常喜欢吃香蕉。

We go to Europe a lot for a holiday. 我们常常去欧洲度假。

[拓展] a lot of/ lots of 意思是 “大量的，许多”，后面接可数名词复数或不可数名词。

There are a lot of teachers outside the building.

大楼外面有许多教师。

5. I’d like a postcard too. 我也想要一张明信片。
I’d like… = I would like…, would like 意为“想要”，其语气比用like婉转些。具体用法如下:
(1) 后面接名词或代词，表示“具体想要”某样东西。
I’d like two cups of coffee. 我想要两杯咖啡。
(2) would like to do sth. 表示“想要做某事”，常用于表示意愿或邀请。
I’d like to climb the Great Wall. 我想去爬长城。
(3) would like sb. to do sth. 表示 “想要某人做某事”，相当于want sb. to

do sth.。
I would like you to go with me. 我想要你和我一起去。
