Unit Review
设计说明 首先通过单元末的歌曲导入新课,接着复习本单元的新学单词、短语和句型,完成课本Building Your Vocabulary部分的习题。然后,讲解语法——祈使句的用法,并通过教材中的Grammar in Use部分进行练习。接着是听说训练,训练学生根据不同情况给出不同的警示语,达到学以致用的目的。最后,处理自我检测和当堂达标。整个设计遵循“单词——短语——句型——语法”的顺序进行,讲练结合,并把听说融入其中,穿插进行,浑然一体。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1. 知识目标 (1)复习本单元所学单词、短语和句型。 (2)归纳复习祈使句的用法。 (3)完成本课节的相关练习。 2. 能力目标 (1)能正确运用所学单词、短语、句型; (2)能听懂有关事故的对话; (3)能运用祈使句谈论安全规则方面的话题。 3. 情感目标 养成良好的安全规则意识。 重点难点 1.重点:祈使句的用法。 2.难点:祈使句的运用。 教学准备 PPT 课件;本课节用到的录音。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up Play the song: Please Tack Care! Let students listen and sing the song. Be careful when you ZOOM down the waterslide, CLIMB up the mountainside, PACE on a bike ride. To take an ambulance is not a happy ride. Have fun, but please take care!

Find and circle the words from this unit. Guide the students to circle the words in a certain order, first horizontally and then vertically. Answers: Above II. Answers: careful, Serious, rules, prevent, from (2) Ask the students to read the passage aloud. Step 4 Grammar Sum up the grammar. 祈使句 一、定义 祈使句用于表示请求、命令、叮嘱、邀请、劝告和建议等。 二、构成 (一)肯定形式 (二)否定形式 1. Do型和Be型: 其否定形式都是在句首加Don’t。 Don’t open the window. 不要打开窗户。 2. Let型: (1)在let前加Don’t。 Don’t let the children play with knives. 不要让小孩玩刀子。 (2)用“Let sb. +not+动词原形+其他成分.”结构。 Let him not sing in the classroom. 让他不要在教室里唱歌。 3. Never型: (1)“Never+动词原形+其他成分. ”。表示劝告, 意为“不要……”。 Never swim in the river. 绝不要在河里游泳。 (2)“Never/No+名词/动名词+其他成分. ”多用于公共场合的警示语, 意为“禁止……”。 Never parking here. 这儿禁止停车。 (三)祈使句的反意疑问句形式 1. 一般由will you/won’t you构成反意疑问句。 Don’t tell anyone about it, will you? 不要告诉任何人这件事, 好吗? 2. Let’s的反意疑问句用shall we; 而Let us/me的反意疑问句用will you或won’t you。 Let’s go to the park tomorrow, shall we? 我们明天去公园, 好吗? (四)祈使句常用的两个重要句型 1. “祈使句+and+表结果的陈述句.”用来叙述肯定的条件。 Hurry up and you will catch the train. 快点, 你会赶上火车的。 2. “祈使句+or+表结果的陈述句.”用来叙述否定的条件, or表示“否则, 要不然”。 Hurry up, or you will miss the train. 快点, 否则你会错过火车的。 Step 5 Grammar in Use A new library will soon open in your school. Help the librarian write a notice to the students.
(1) Let the students talk about library rules in pairs. (2) Lead the students to say as many library rules as possible in the imperative sentences. Write them on the blackboard. Possible answers: 3.Never eat in the reading room. 4.Please be careful with books. 5.Don’t make or answer the phone. 6. No smoking. 7. Do not fight. 8. Don’t tear the book. 9. Don’t make noise. 10. Please return books on time. Step 6 Listening and speaking Ⅰ. Listen to the dialogues and tick the correct answers. 1. What does Tom mean? □He is going to fall. □He will be fine. 2. What happened to the man? □He fell off the ladder. □He fell off the fence. 3. Why is Tony driving so fast? □He is rushing to the hospital. □He is rushing to the airport. (1) Read the questions and make sure the students can understand the sentences. (2) Play the recording and ask the students to listen carefully and make their choice to the questions. (3) Play the recording again and let students check their answers. (4) Check the answers as a class. Answers: 1. He will be fine. 2. He fell off the ladder. 3. He is rushing to the airport. Someone is climbing up high. 2. Your friend often plays computer games through the night. 3. There is heavy traffic, and a little boy runs into the street to get his ball back. 4. The floor is wet, and someone is walking by. 5. A man is smoking in the non-smoking area. (1) Ask the students to read the sentences aloud and understand the meaning of each sentence. (2) Have the students discuss these situations and think about what they should say in each case. (3) Encourage students to speak out their answers. Each case may have more than one answer. (4) Have some pairs role-play the situations in front of the class. Answers: 1. Don’t climb so high. You may fall down. / Come down! / It’s dangerous. 2. Don’t play computer games through the night. Playing computer games too much is bad for your eyes. 3. Stop! Don’t run into the street. It’s dangerous. Don’t get your ball back in the street. The traffic is heavy. 4. Watch out for the wet floor. /Be careful! The floor is wet. 5. Please stop smoking! It’s the non-smoking area./Please don’t smoke here. You can smoke in the smoking area. Step 7 Putting It All Together Ⅰ. Look at the rules for different groups of people. Match the rules with the correct groups.
(1) First ask the students to read the three rules on the right. (2) Ask the students to think about who each group of rules is for. (3) Check the answers as a class. Ⅱ. Make a poster. In a group of four, make a poster about how to prevent accidents inside or outside school. What should students do to be safe? What should they NOT do? Ask some groups to show their posters to the class. Step 8 Self-Evaluation Find more examples from this unit. Then mark your stars. Ⅰ.
