    UNIT 2  Great PeopleLesson 9: China’s Most Famous “Farmer”设计说明首先,展示一张袁隆平的照片,并播放一段介绍袁隆平的视频,由此导入本节课;然后,借助图片帮助学生学习本节课的新单词;接下来,进入对课文的学习,设置Listening taskReading taskRetelling三个环节。通过听并回答问题、读并判断正误、读课文填空,逐步加深学生对课文的理解和掌握,并实现听力与阅读的综合训练。之后,呈现课文的框架和关于袁隆平的生平的时间轴,帮助学生复述课文。最后,处理一下Lets Do It!的其余部分,至于Lets Do It! No. 4,可以采取小组合作的方式,鼓励学生积极参与。教学目标通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标:1.知识目标掌握单词:introduction, leader, produce接触单词:peanut, hybrid, variety, production, super短语和句型:Father of Hybrid Rice, since then, together with2.能力目标能读懂关于伟人的梦想和生活的文章。3.情感目标学习袁隆平的优秀品质,拥有梦想,敢于创新。重点难点1. 重点能读懂关于伟人的梦想和生活的文章。2. 难点定语从句的用法;beforeafter的用法。教学准备PPT课件;课文朗读音频授课时数1课时教学过程Step 1  Warming upShow a picture of Yuan Longping and let the students watch a video about him.Step 2  Presentation1. Show the words of this lesson.peanut n.花生hybrid adj.杂交的n.杂交植物(动物)variety n.品种;变化introduction n.采用;引进;推行leader n.领导者;领袖production n.生产,制造;产量produce v.生产;出产super adj.超级的2. Use the pictures to help the students learn the words.       It can produce more rice than before.  Hybrid rice made China a leader in rice production.  He tried to develop super hybrid rice.Maybe it can be as big as a peanut.Step 3  Listening task  Listen and answer the questions.1.
