设计说明 本单元是复习单元,集中总结和练习if引导的条件状语从句和表示“禁止做某事”的结构的用法;复习巩固本模块的重点单词、短语和句型。本课从指导学生朗读Language practice中的句子入手,引入语法的集中讲解与练习。除语法专项训练外,本单元还安排了词汇、听力和会话的训练以及拓展视野的Around the world栏目,介绍了巴黎的卢浮宫博物馆。在本课的末尾安排了实践性环节---介绍一个博物馆。所有这些环节的设置,旨在提升学生的语言运用能力。 教学目标 通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1. 知识目标 (1)复习本模块新单词、短语及句型。 (2)总结巩固if引导的条件状语从句和表示“禁止做某事”的结构的用法。 2. 能力目标 (1)能够运用if引导的条件状语从句和表示“禁止做某事”的结构。 (2)能够独立完成一篇简单介绍博物馆的短文。 3. 情感目标 了解和爱护人类文明。 重点难点 重点:掌握本模块的重点短语和句子 难点:掌握if引导的条件状语从句和表示“禁止做某事”的结构的用法 教学准备 PPT课件;活动8的录音;卢浮宫的图片 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Review 1. Ask the students to read the new words and expressions in Module 5. 2. Get some students to read the conversation in Unit 1 in different roles. 3. Get the students to read the passage in Unit 2 on their own. Step 2 Language practice 1. Read the sentences in the box to the class.
2. Get the students to read the sentences. 3. Encourage some of them to repeat the sentences. Step 3 Grammar 一、条件状语从句 “If从句+祈使句”意为“如果……,就……”,常用来表示建议。if从句可放在主句之前,也可放在主句之后。 If you are free tomorrow afternoon, come and help me. 如果明天下午你有空,来帮帮我。 Go to see the doctor if you don’t feel well. 如果你觉得不舒服,去看看医生吧。 [注意] if从句用一般现在时态。 二、表示“禁止做某事”的结构 (1) No +动词-ing. No parking. 禁止停车。 (2) No+名词. No entry. 禁止入内。 No photos. 禁止拍照。 (3) Don’t +动词原形(+其他). Don’t shout in the museum. 在博物馆内不可喧哗。 Step 4 Practice 1. Match the signs with the rules. First, ask the students to read the rules. Then, ask them to match the signs with the rules. Finally, tell them to check answers in groups. Answers: a) – 3; b) – 6; c) – 2; d) – 5; e) – 1; f) – 4 2. Look at the signs and write the rules. ① ② ③ ④
(1) Ask the students to say what each sign means. Point to one of them. T: What does this sign mean? S1: It means… (2) Ask the class to write the rules. (1) Tell the students to complete the sentences on their own. (2) Ask them to check answers with their partners. (3) Check answers as a class. (2) Tell them to complete the sentences on their own. Tell them there are different ideas. (3) Check ideas in pairs then as a class. Step 5 Speaking Work in pairs. Ask and answer questions about the museum.
(1) Let the students read the example conversations in pairs. (2) Ask the students to work in pairs to take turns asking and answering their questions. (3) Now ask the students to read the example advice and then write some more advice for visitors. Tell them to use If. Possible answers: If you want to see modern technology, go to the first floor. If you want to see space technology, go to the second floor. If you want to see medical technology, go to the third floor. Ask the students to complete the sentences with the words or expression in the box.

Well, here we are at the Science Museum. Today we will be looking at ancient and modern technology. You can learn about history (1) _________ technology. Take one of these little books with information about where everything is. If you want to leave your coats and bags, there’s a special room on the ground floor next to the ticket office. There are toilets on each floor at the bottom of the stairs. First, on this floor, there are things on show from the natural world—about different countries and geography. Then upstairs, you will see things like old rocks as well as dishes and bowls from long ago. They all come from the ancient world. After that, we’ll go upstairs again to the second floor, to see the wonders of the modern world. There’s also an exhibition of modern technology. Finally, on the top floor, there is a restaurant, so you can relax and have a meal or a drink. Step 8 Around the world (1) Ask the students to look at the picture carefully. (2) Ask them to read the passage. Step 9 Planning a guide to a museum 1. Work in groups. Prepare a guide to a museum. ● Describe the museum: what kind of museum it is and what you can see there. ● Draw a diagram of the museum: what you can find on each floor. ● Provide more information: how to get to the museum; what the opening hours are; ticket information, etc. 2. Find or draw pictures for your guide, showing what you can see at the museum. 3. Then present your guide to the class.
