    Module 9  Great inventionsUnit 1  Will computers be used more than books in the future? 设计说明本单元从学习新单词和短语入手,之后通过自由对话导入本课话题,然后通过听录音完成句子、在文中所给对话中找出意思相同的句子等练习,引导学生学习并理解会话,培养其阅读与交际能力。通过对课文中重要语言点的知识讲解,帮助学生学习新的语法知识同时巩固对已有知识的记忆。最后通过做题,实际运用所学知识并再次巩固所学。教学目标通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标:1. 知识目标掌握本单元新单词及短语:borrow, website, mail, textbook, mainly, page, electronic, technology, powerful, memory, full, fix, instructions, lend, properly, put up, thousands of等。 掌握本单元重点句子:Will computers be used more than books in the future?And they can be seen on the Internet by other classes, even people living in other countries. Today, with the invention of the computer and electronic technology, its easy to get information on the Internet. If you have to lend it to anyone, tell them to use it properly. 初步掌握一般将来时的被动语态: will be +及物动词的过去分词2. 能力目标能听懂关于发明的对话,并能简单谈论发明是怎样改变人们生活的。3. 情感目标 通过对本单元的学习,让学生了解历史上的重大发明对人类生活产生的影响,从而激发他们进行发明创造的欲望。 重点难点重点:本单元的重点单词、短语、句型难点:一般将来时的被动语态的学习教学准备PPT课件,教材活动236录音授课时数2课时教学过程Step 1  Free talk 1. Step 3  Language points1. Dad, can I borrow your camera? 爸爸,我能借你的相机吗?borrow表示“借入”, lend表示“借出”。borrow sth. from sb. 表示“向某人借某物”,lend sth. to sb. 表示“把某物借给某人”。I borrowed a book from the library yesterday. 昨天我从图书馆借了一本书。Dont lend the camera to anyone. 不要把相机借给任何人。2. They’ll be put up on the school website. 它们将被张贴在学校的网站上。put up表示“张贴,公布”。You can put up the notice on the noticeboard. 你可以把通知贴在布告栏上。3. In the past, we mainly got information from paper books. 在过去,我们主要从纸质书上获取信息。mainly表示“大部分地,主要地”, 是副词。它的形容词为mainWe mainly get food from the land and sea. 我们主要从陆地和海洋获取食物。4. Some were huge ones with thousands of pages. 有些是有着成千上万页的巨大的书。(1)thousands of 表示“成千上万的”。 Thousands of birds fly back to the north in spring. 成千上万的鸟儿在春天飞回北方。(2)ones是不定代词,代指前句中出现的paper booksWith意思是“带有,伴随”。5. And the memory card may be full. 存储卡有可能满了。memory 表示“内存,存储器”。full adj. 满的,充满的。be full of 充满……,同义短语是be filled withMy suitcase was full of books. = My suitcase was filled with books. 我的手提箱里装满了书。 6. That can be fixed. 那个问题可以被解决。含有情态动词的被动语态。结构为:情态动词+be+及物动词的过去分词。fix v. 修补,挽救 The broken window needs to be fixed. 这个破窗户需要修补了。7. If you have to lend it to anyone, tell them to use it properly. 如果你不得不把它借给别人,请告诉他们要妥当地使用它。1lend v.(把某物)借出,借给(某人)lend sth. to sb. 表示把某物借给某人Tom lent his book to me last month. 上个月汤姆把书借给了我。2properly adv. 合适地,正确地How much money do we need to do the job properly? 我们需要多少钱才能做好这件事?Step 4  Pronunciation and speaking. 1.
