设计说明 本单元以破坏生态环境的图片导入课堂,引导学生谈论该话题,激发学生学习的兴趣。然后通过听、说、读等训练,引导学生学习会话,培养学生阅读与交际的能力。指导学生学习会话中出现的知识点,提升解题能力。然后针对语调进行专项训练,最后通过做题,巩固并运用所学知识。 教学目标 通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1. 知识目标 掌握本单元新单词及短语:factory, pollute, recycle, waste, enemy, crop, kill, oil, less,hopeless。 2. 能力目标 能够表达出对现在环境问题的观点。 3. 情感目标 通过听说训练,提高保护环境的自觉性,增强宣传环保意识的责任感。 重点难点 重点:本单元的重点单词、短语、句型 难点:表达关于环境问题的观点 教学准备 PPT课件,教材活动2、3、5的录音 授课时数 2课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in 1. Let the students look at the pictures and discuss:
(1)What can you see? (2)What should we do? 2. Work in pairs. Look at the pictures and talk about them. Use the words in the box to help you. (1)Ask students to look at the words in the box. Discuss the meaning of the words. (2)Ask students to look at the pictures and say something about them using the words in the box. (3)Put students in pairs to talk about the pictures.

And there are so many cars on the roads. It’s no use talking about things we can’t do. 谈论我们不能做的事情是没有用的。 It’s no use doing sth. 是固定句型,意为“做某事没有用处”。其中it是形式主语,真正的主语是后面的动名词短语。 It’s no use blaming others for your mistake. 因为你的错误责备其他人是没有用的。 Listen, Tom,it’s no use living in the past. 听着,汤姆,活在过去是没有用的。 [拓展] use sth. for (doing)sth. 用某物做某事,相当于use sth. to do sth.。 He often uses the radio for studying English. =He often uses the radio to study English. 他常用收音机学习英语。 3. If everyone starts to do something,the world will be saved. 如果每个人都开始做一些事情,世界将会被拯救。 本句是含有if引导的条件状语从句的主从复合句。在含有if条件状语从句的复合句中,如果主句是一般将来时,从句则用一般现在时表示将来。 If it snows tomorrow, we will make a snowman. 如果明天下雪,我们将堆雪人。 If he comes tomorrow, he will bring some books for me. 他如果明天来,会带些书给我。 4. If the rivers are polluted...如果河流被污染了…… pollute [及物动词]污染 Don’t pollute the water. 不要污染水。 [拓展] pollution [不可数名词]污染 Air pollution is a serious problem. 空气污染是个严重的问题。 polluted [形容词]被污染的 Don’t pour the polluted water everywhere. 不要把被污染的水到处倒。 Step 5 Practice Complete the passage with the correct form of the words in the box.
