A+be+形容词的比较级+than +B；   A+be+the + 形容词的比较级+ of the two …Susan is happier than Jane.苏珊比简开心。Jim is the taller of the two boys.吉姆是两个男孩中较高的。2. 数词+名词+形容词的比较级+thanI’m two years older than you.我比你大两岁。She is a head taller than me.她比我高一头。3.比较级+and+比较级，表示“越来越……”The earth is getting warmer and warmer.地球正变得越来越暖和。China is becoming stronger and stronger.中国正变得越来越强大。4. the+比较级，the+比较级，表示“越……,越……”The more careful you are, the fewer mistakes you will make.你越仔细，你犯的错误就越少。【注意】形容词的比较级前还可以用much, even, still, a little, far, a lot, a bit等修饰。His brother is much younger than me.他弟弟比我年轻得多。Can you come here a little earlier?你能早点儿到这里吗？三、形容词的最高级的用法1. A+be+the + 形容词的最高级+ of /in +比较范围Susan is the tallest in her class.苏珊在她班里是最高的。He is the bravest of all the people.所有人中他是最勇敢的。2. one of the+形容词的最高级+名词复数，表示“最……的……之一”Shanghai is one of the most beautiful cities in China.上海是中国最美丽的城市之一。 Step 5  Grammar in UseⅠ.
