    UNIT 5  My FutureUnit Review设计说明首先通过单元末的歌曲导入新课,接着复习本单元学单词、短语,完成课本Building Your Vocabulary部分的习题。然后,讲解语法——情态动词的用法和形容词的比较级和最高级,并通过教材中的Grammar in Use部分进行练习。接着是听说训练。最后,处理自我检测和当堂达标。整个设计按照单词——短语——句型——语法的顺序进行,讲练结合,并把听说融入其中,穿插进行,浑然一体。教学目标通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标:1.知识目标(1)复习本单元所学单词、短语和句型;(2)掌握本单元的语法:情态动词; 形容词的比较级和最高级;(3)完成本课节的相关练习。2.能力目标(1)能正确运用所学单词、短语和句型;(2)能听懂有关未来设想的短文;(3)能正确运用情态动词以及形容词的比较级和最高级3.情感目标树立正确的职业理想重点难点1.重点情态动词;形容词的比较级和最高级。 2.难点情态动词;形容词的比较级和最高级。教学准备PPT 课件;本课节用到的录音。授课时数1课时教学过程Step 1  Warming upPlay the song No Matter What and let students listen and sing the song.In ten more years, my friend,Where will I be?Rich, poor, or somewhere in between?No matter what I become, I know for sure:You’ll be my friend,If I’m rich or I’m poor.Step 2  RevisionReview the words and phrases of this unit.(1)Ask the students to write the English words according to their Chinese meaning.1. 科学家(n.) ________     2. 工程师;技师(n.)  _________3. 飞行员(n.)  _________4. 经理;管理人(n.)   ___________5. 渔夫;渔民(n.)   _________6. 女警察(n.)   _________   (警察)__________7. 艺术家;(尤指)画家(n.)  _________8.(男)演员(n.)  _________     (女演员)_______9. Then check the answers as a class.(4) Ask the students to read the passage aloud.Answers: dream/ambition/goal/hope/wish, is going/hopes/wishes/wants/chooses, steps, futureStep 4  GrammarLearn the grammar.  情态动词will, would may, might一、will, would的用法1. willwould表示请求和建议    willwould用于第二人称疑问句,表示请求和建议,wouldwill委婉、客气。固定句型:Will/Would you please...?请你……好吗?Will/Would you please pass me the mobile phone请你把手机递给我好吗?2. willwould表示意志意愿    willwould用于第一人称时可表示意志意愿。I will/would help you.我会帮你的。I would like to be a doctor.我想成为一名医生。二、may, might的用法1. 表示许可或征询对方许可。You may go now. 现在你可以走了。May I watch TV after supper? 晚饭后我可以看电视吗?He said that I might use the telephone.他说我可以用电话。注意征询许可时,mightmay更委婉、客气。肯定回答常用“Yesof course.”;否定回答常用“Noyou mustn’t.”Might I have a word with youplease?请问,我可以和你谈一谈吗?—May I take the book out of the reading room我可以将这本书带出阅览室吗?—Yesof course./Noyou mustn’t.是的,当然可以。/不,你不能。 2. 可能性,有或许可能之意。   此时mightmay可以换用,但might表示更加微弱的可能性和比较没有把握的推测。He may/might be a Japanese.他可能是日本人。They may/might have a lot of work to do.他们可能有许多工作要做。Peter may come with us tonightbut he isn’t very sure yet.彼得今晚可能和我们一起来,但他还不太确定。形容词的比较级和最高级大多数形容词和副词有三个等级:   1. 原级,即原形。(没有比较或比较一样时用原级)   2. 比较级,表示“较……”或“更……一些”。(两者比较时用比较级)   3. 最高级,表示“最……”的意思。(三者或者三者以上比较用最高级)一、形容词比较级和最高级的构成规则变化: 构成方法原级比较级最高级单音节词和少数双音节词 一般在词尾加­er-esttall  smalllight  hightaller  smallerlighter  highertallest  smallestlightest  highest以字母-e结尾的形容词直接加-r-stnice  largewidenicerlargerwidernicestlargestwidest单音节词和少数双音节词以重读闭音节结尾的形容词,如末尾只有一个辅音字母,应先双写该字母,再加-er-estbighotredthinbiggerhotterredderthinnerbiggesthottestreddestthinnest辅音字母+y结尾的形容词,先把y变成i,再加-er-estbusyeasyearlybusiereasierearlierbusiesteasiestearliest 部分双音节形容词和多音节形容词分别在该词前面moremostusefulimportant  carefulmore usefulmore importantmore carefulmost usefulmost importantmost careful不规则变化:原级比较级最高级good/wellbetterbestbadworseworstmany/muchmoremostfarfarther/furtherfarthest/furthest二、形容词的比较级的用法1. A+be+形容词的比较级+than +B   A+be+the + 形容词的比较级+ of the two …Susan is happier than Jane.苏珊比简开心。Jim is the taller of the two boys.吉姆是两个男孩中较高的。2. +名词+形容词的比较级+thanI’m two years older than you.我比你大两岁。She is a head taller than me.她比我高一头。3.比较级+and+比较级,表示越来越……The earth is getting warmer and warmer.地球正变得越来越暖和。China is becoming stronger and stronger.中国正变得越来越强大。4. the+比较级,the+比较级,表示……,……The more careful you are, the fewer mistakes you will make.你越仔细,你犯的错误就越少。注意形容词的比较级前还可以用much, even, still, a little, far, a lot, a bit修饰。His brother is much younger than me.他弟弟比我年轻得多。Can you come here a little earlier?你能早点儿到这里吗?三、形容词的最高级的用法1. A+be+the + 形容词的最高级+ of /in +比较范围Susan is the tallest in her class.苏珊在她班里是最高的。He is the bravest of all the people.所有人中他是最勇敢的。2. one of the+形容词的最高级+名词复数,表示…………之一Shanghai is one of the most beautiful cities in China.上海是中国最美丽的城市之一。 Step 5  Grammar in Use.
