Lesson 31: How Do You Travel?
设计说明 首先,展示交通工具的图片,并就此询问学生问题,由此导入本节课;然后,设置听课文原文并回答问题环节,通过听力练习,训练学生边听听力边捕捉关键词句的能力;接下来,播放课文原文并让学生根据标准音频跟读模仿,熟悉对话内容,同时训练学生的朗读水平;之后,通过阅读课文内容并判断句子正误,提升学生阅读理解能力;再次,通过Role-play环节,检验学生对对话内容的掌握程度,同时也训练学生的口语能力。最后,通过本节练习题,检验学生对所学知识的掌握程度,达到学以致用的目的。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标: 掌握单词:hometown,Britain,seldom,rapid 接触单词:transportation 2.能力目标: 让学生运用所学知识介绍自己喜欢的出行方式。 3.情感目标: 让学生学会合理规划自己的生活。 重点难点 1.重点:掌握本课节的重点单词、短语和句型。 2.难点:读懂并听懂关于出行方式的短文。 教学准备 PPT课件;课文朗读的音频;Let’s Do It ! No. 2的音频。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up 1.Show the students some pictures of vehicles and ask them the following questions: • How do you travel in your city, town or village? • What’s your favourite type of transportation?
2. Ask the students to discuss the questions in groups. 3.Let them present their answers in class. 4.Learn the new words together. Step 2 Listening 1.Listen to the tape and find the answer to the questions. (1)How can Danny go to the bakery? (2)How does Jenny go to other cities? (3)What is more rapid transportation to Brian? 2. Ask the students to check the answers in groups. Answers: (1)On foot.(2)By train.(3)By plane. Step 3 Reading Task 1 1. Play the recording of the dialogue on page 82. 2. Ask the students to listen to the dialogue and repeat. Task 2 1. Read the lesson and write true (T) or false (F). (Let’s Do It! No. 1) (1) Danny likes to travel on foot. (2)Brian would like to take a train to London. (3)Jenny likes to travel by plane. (4) It would take Brian a long time to take a ship to his hometown. 2. almost 几乎;差不多 常位于实义动词之前,连系动词be、情态动词或助动词之后。 I almost forgot to turn off the lights.我几乎忘了关灯。 It is almost like a game. 这几乎就像一个游戏。 2. What about going to other cities? 去其他城市怎么样? How/What about...? ……怎么样? 介词about后跟名词、代词或动词的ing形式,常用来征求别人的意见。 How about another cup of coffee?再来一杯咖啡怎么样? Jeff,today is Sunday. What about going to the movies? 杰夫,今天是周日。去看电影怎么样? 3. I seldom travel by ship.我很少坐船旅行。 seldom [频度副词]不常;罕见;难得 在句中位于实义动词之前,助动词、情态动词或连系动词be 之后。 She seldom goes swimming.她很少去游泳。 He is seldom late for school.他上学很少迟到。 【拓展】seldom表示否定意义,用于反意疑问句时,附加问句应用肯定形式。 类似的词还有hardly,never,few,little,nothing,nobody等。 He seldom reads newspapers,does he? 他很少看报纸,是吗? 4. I like rapid transportation, too. 我也喜欢快的交通方式。 rapid adj. 快的,迅速的,动作快的 Tom is a rapid worker. 汤姆是个做事麻利的人。 I made rapid progress in my studies.我在学习上进步很快。 5. Danny likes to travel on foot. 丹妮喜欢步行旅游。 on foot步行 He gets to school on foot every day. 他每天步行到学校。 【拓展】使用交通工具的表达方式: a. 动词表达法 walk(步行), ride(骑), take(乘)等。 I ride my bike to school every day. 我每天骑自行车上学。 He is going to take a bus to the city. 他要乘公共汽车去城里。 b. by + 交通工具 I go to school by bus every day. 我每天乘公共汽车上学。 c. in/on + a/an + 交通工具。除冠词外,交通工具前也可以用物主代词来修饰。 He goes to school on his bike every day. 他每天骑他的自行车上学。 6. The boy is strong enough to swim…这个男孩足够强壮,能游…… “形容词/副词+enough to do sth.”足够……能做某事 I take care of the bird patiently enough. 我足够耐心地照顾这只鸟儿。 My sister is old enough to go to school. 我妹妹年龄足够大,可以去上学了。 【拓展】 enough〔形容词〕足够的,充足的 常修饰名词复数或不可数名词,修饰名词时, 通常放在名词前,但 time enough (足够的时间)仍然常用。 Step 9 Homework
